While very quick and much more efficient, big thanks to Sneeza, I noticed that the items that were once greyed out (deleted) because I purchased them are no longer that way. Trying to do so again does nothing.

Does this in effect make it where you are not able to post a list of items you are trying to find and remove them to indicate that you have them already?

Also, is there a way to remove posts from showing in the "My Offers" after A) been hidden from thread owner or B) hidden by poster?

I tried to go back and find an offer to see if there were any other offers but my list is a mile long now instead of the 3 or 4 offers i had that were current.

Alright, that thread clears up the issue of it being a bug or if it was intentional. Issue still remains though if this can be changed by the user and also the greyed out/deleted items.

Not even sure that effect was intentional. I also would love to have control over "My Offers" independent of me or the owner hiding the post. (for past and new offers)

Sneeza said that it was intentional for the hidden posts either by trade owner or poster to be seen regardless of who made hid the post. I would assume that based on that, it was intentional for the "My Offers" changes.

But we have no way of closing those age old and pages long old offers now. I can hardly imagine that was also intentional. Then again, maybe you are right.

But since "My Offers" is filled with all my trades where I ever posted now, and "My Bookmarks" with all the trades I monitor for price suggestions, I have no place to neatly gather my current and active offers anymore.
I noticed that too Xile. Thanks!

I guess only time or Sneeza will tell Uranaium. I would rather go back to the old system than this personally. Even the speed of the new site isnt worth this, IMO.

Would you create a test trade where I can offer and then you hide my offer, so that I can see what kind of notification / options I get?

If someone else also would like to test for themselves: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7937693
i posted and hid so you can see both sides.

I thought you wanted to post and I hide. I want to see what happens if I post in your trade and you (or I) hide it.

Hmm, that's a disappointment... nothing happened besides the notification icon up top.
Your trade is still in "My Offers" and I have no way of getting rid of it...

So what happened when you hid your own post in my trade? did it vanish automatically from your "My Offers" list, or did you get to choose somehow what should happen?

you mean if I close the trade..

Now that you closed your trade, it is gone from my "My Offers" list.

Well, not really gone, but moved to the bottom and marked done of the very long list of past offers I have where the trade is still active but I have long ago moved on.
