Extend BB codes
Greetings

As the title says it would be really good to add some extra BB codes. For example text alignment related formatting options.

I don't think you understand the limits of BB code, there is quite a limited list of possible functions.
I doubt other font options would be added, (colour scrolling, flash etc) but the I feel that [list] [email] [left] [right] and [centre] would be welcomed.

Also, just for point of correctness, the code is called BB Code or BBC. BBC Code would stand for "Bulletin Board Code Code"

If you use them wisely, colors can help making your trade easier to read and grasp the essential points.

I disagree, just for point of correctness, there is no formal list of BBCs and the limit is what you can imagine (in HTML / CSS). ;-)

But I would also not support more BBCs

I'd be poised to disagree with you there. In my opinion there is most definitely a limited set of BBCode functions, certainly the different codes vary with implementations, but I do not include them, as they are often limited to a certain site. For example, [tr] [/tr] only works in a handful of areas, but [b] and [u] work practically universally, in every implementation.

I'd like to see more of the common, what I would consider "stock" codes enabled on OP.

Our difference is, that you look at it from a user's perspective and I from a developer's.
"Limited to a certain site", is exactly what OP is, a certain site.

If I wanted to implement a [popup] code where a box would appear by hovering over the keyword, that would be no problem to implement, although I have never seen such a code anywhere yet.

The only thing I would want besides what's already available, is a code to decrease font size a little, maybe also an unordered list.
