Does anybody actually buy dota 2 copies?
I was wondering, Dota 2 is around $30, but people get free invites and such, so does anybody really pay for it anymore?

I don't get it, 30 USD and you can basically get this for free, everywhere. First forum you check, BAM, there will be people offering it

The $30 are only of cosmetic nature, not to look like a free to play game. Valve gave out so many Dota 2 gifts and invites, that practically everyone was getting it for free many times over.
(except me, I only got an invite and no gifts to give away)
