New Search Layout?
I like how exact you can be when searching for an item now (ex: vintage + level 100 + painted black) but can you please put back the option to sort items by class. Sure makes it easier when you want to create a trade looking for all scout hats and such.

Edited to add: I just realized you can simply type in "scout" or "sniper" to pull up only items for those classes :P I love it!

Was about to "complain" as well. Just how did you figure that out? Well done!

Now I would also like a "promo" or better yet "currency" filter so that I have easy access to the often needed metal, keys and promos (max, bill, bud, big kill) with one filter

But I guess this is also work in progress, as I can search for "uncraft" in the wishlist, but I cannot put up a trade specifying uncraft in the wishlist.

Ohh, and love the "search completed trades" option. Have yet to try it out and see what exactly it does. Just deleted items, done trades, both ... and if so how far back.

What's medal and series number?

Is there a way to search for wrapped items by item?
When I searched a "carefully wrapped gift" it usually shows all types.
Or was it changed to show wrapped items if I search the general item?
i agree we need Search Layout by class is back

Well I actually figured it out by trying a class in the search field butt I'd just like to say this is much better. Also I'm a little disappointed with the new server load bars, No Percentages.

How do you choose to search for specific levels now?

the window is way too small now for search and for create trade

It's fine. It looks great. Thank you TF2OP team!
I prefer the class button row over having to type a class name into the search filter in order to search for a specific class' items. It was fine before so why change that and take a step backwards by forcing people to search twice? It doesn't help that the new way wasn't documented so people know about the changes either. I love this site but some things are just better left as they were. Thanks for all the work. It's an awesome site!

For the search window that's fine, however when you create a new trade it gets a little crowded.. The window should be a bit bigger.

Also anyone think open trades should be filtered out when searching for "Closed Trades"? I mean if you wanted to search through open trades you wouldn't tick that option. The problem is that there are only 20 pages and trades are sorted chronologically, so the closed trades will keep falling behind until they don't even show up. Defeats the purpose of searching through closed trades.

How do we search by, craft no#, paint, level etc, now? Also the window size is way too small, and the alphabetical system was better, showing the letters for easy search, eg; 'A' 'Z'. Sadface.jpg

Firstly, I can add the letters back if everyone really has that much nostalgia unnecessarily.

Secondly, when you select an item there is a new contextual menu that appears allowing you to change quality and specify a variety of filters. You can add filters per item, and can have multiple filters per item eg. Purple Energy + Painted Pink.

Apologies, I didn't add any items to investigate further, I just saw the new system and went off on a wobbly, I was hungry & hadn't eaten. And that's cool, you can add multiple filters, is something I wanted & will find quite useful. Please excuse my ignorance, hungry brains don't function too well :p

The problem with this is that the popup always comes up when you select an item. Not only does this cover part of the screen, which might be unwanted but you also can't select items in succession anymore. You need to click on a new tile just to make the popup disappear. Most of the time you don't need to costumize an item. Having a small button on each item that brings up this menu would be the best solution imo.

Where do you select item level # in the search field?
