I don't believe there are that many of them but I bet there are more than buds, no doubt. Either way, the number of copies should have absolutely no effect on the item's value at all. Whenever you hear somebody comparing any item with buds, it just tells how clueless they are.

My guess is around 2-4 keys but I am also predicting that it will become currency once it stabilizes and that might make it a good bridge between a key and a bill. I am basing the price guess on how many are currently equipping it and on the items appearance as well as other problems. Personally, it think it would have been much better if they had made it an all class, full body tuxedo. Then it would likely go for more than a bills, maybe higher. The interesting thing will be the value of the two alternate versions. Those could be huge. It seems to me that less than 10% are of that type and they do look kool.

You mean the style? Style can be changed, if you don't see many of the alternative styles it's probably because players don't bother changing it.

i can imagine one case in which the tux would acctualy gain in value. if valve would delete all alternative accounts which only hold a tux currently, the 30000 would be pretty accurate and yea, then they would be rare. But only then.

Again rarity does not go hand to hand with high value. Look at uncraft Hitman promos, there are less than a couple hundred in existance and they go for what, 4-5 keys? Plus in order for something to become currency having a high number actually helps.
