Its not about being careful, trying to rig prices is basically criminal when done in business, never mind the morality. Price fixing/market manipulation....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_manipulation
Market manipulation is a deliberate attempt to interfere with the free and fair operation of the market and create artificial, false or misleading appearances with respect to the price of, or market for, a security, commodity or currency. Market manipulation is prohibited in the United States under Section 9(a)(2)[1] of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and in Australia under Section s 1041A of the Corporations Act 2001. The Act defines market manipulation as transactions which create an artificial price or maintain an artificial price for a tradeable security.
If you have nothing constructive to say, don't say it.
The admins are dealing with appeals, it doesn't matter whether Mr. Rager is away or not.
This is being worked on, they will be back.
Also I saw nothing in outposts rules stating no asking people to raise their buyout, but I admit it was wrong of me to try to cheat the system, I dont even use backpack.tf because its corrupted as hell im just sick of noobs saying (In prepubescent voice) "Hey bro I was just checking out backpack.tf you know my bible so yeah that hat 3 buds so hand it over bro now or else ill tell my mom!" Which im sure all of us have came upon a noob of that magnitude, I really had no idea it was wrong but I wish of you all to learn from my mistake and now post anything dumb like me.
All admins have been handling appeals in the site, you just had no idea of this fact.
I believe most of the staff do that because of the mass amount of adds they get every single day due to problems that can easily be solved in the site or in the forums. Every minute one spends talking to a user is one less minute working/managing the site. And 95%, if not more, of these adds are just complaints, curses, bribes or threats.
