Question: Can I be banned for this?
I know a lot of people will take offense to this, but is it a bannable offense to write in my notes of trades that I only wish to trade with people who are almost fluent in English? Recently I've had some terrible experiences with people who don't speak English (mostly them not understanding what I offer/want) and I'd like to try and stop that because it's becoming a headache to me. I know some people will be like, "Oh that's racist!" or "That's unfair!" but there are plenty of other tf2 sites where you are required to speak English or at least enough of it. Please don't post opinions on this or anything, I just want a yes or no from an admin or mod as to whether or not I can do this. Thank you.

How can you tell someone is fluent in english?

You are imposing impossible/subjective rules.
If you could, that would be incredibly stupid.

So you hate russians, right? You are not alone.

It's not just russians. It's anyone who can't speak english. Then adds you instead of leaving a comment. It takes them 10 minutes to be able to make a fluent enough sentence for you to figure out what they want and it turns out they are trying to offer 1/3 of what your item is worth.

Guys please don't turn this into a hate topic. I just would prefer not to do business with them, I don't "hate" them. That's such a strong and offensive word.
This topic is going downhill.

You are free to trade with whoever you want. If you care so much about one's english proficiency just create a complex sentence that requires a thorough answer. And if the person doesn't reply properly then remove them from your friends list or skip the trade.

Do not add race/nationality/color/language proficiency rules in the trade notes. This will only cause hate and problems to everyone.
