Market Pressure
I want to know why the price of Gold Botkillers has/is dropping so rapidly when compared to the amount of strange festives, rate of play in Mann Up, and low chance to obtain one, they wont even reach the same abundance as festives for at least a year or more (I had a friend run some generous numbers). I suppose it could be because of a majority opinion regarding "Festives look cooler with all their flashing lights", but I'm genuinely curious. I want to hear what other traders think.
I currently own no Gold Botkillers, so I'm not just looking to highball. I'm not even interested in them. I like the fesitves better (Even though I own none of them as well). Please, enlighten me.
This is my first post here, so forgive me and correct me if I did something wrong in asking this.

I think it's because people get the feeling that in the long run everyone will be able to get a botkiller, yet no one can uncrate a festive anymore, also as you said most botkillers have a extremely simple desing, only wrench and knife are a little different, so festives look more unique, and also if you play with the first person weapon models (I do, a ton of players disable it) you can see the happy lights in your weapons all the way, while wou can't almost see anything different on the botkillers one, so I personally want the gold botkiller wrench because it fits engie really nice, but as everyone else, I will wait till price drop, so I guess everyone waiting for price to drop, make it drop faster, does it make any sense what I say?

That makes perfect sense. I suppose cosmetic appeal will always trump in demand over the number available.

Christmas is coming.

While that is true, that was not the answer I was searching for. I already knew that. Not to mention, you both said the EXACT same thing in essence. Timey was much more helpful.

If a mod sees this, they can feel free to lock it, unless of course others want to talk about Market Pressure on various items.
