I have somebody slandering me. What can I do to stop it.
I have an 'admirer' saying all my items are duped and that I am some sort of trickster/scammer. As for the first part I dont even know how to check if an item is duped. For the second, I have worked very hard at being fair and generous in this mannconomy as I was targeted when I was a complete noob. Nothing would have made my day more than some upper tier trader with a little swag in his bp to come along and gift me after I got burned on my first Bills trade. It didnt happen. But I have been the guy to spread a little kindness around this community. Read some of the ♥♥♥♥ on my community page for evidence. I gift more and lose more due to my generousity than anybody I know. And now to have some jerk off talking ♥♥♥♥ truly upsets me. I do a lot of paypal trading. I have earned quite a bit of trust with these people and I am not going to let some random ♥♥♥♥ cast doubt upon me. What can I do besides meet this character face to face.

Tell him to fuck himself, delete him, and if he posts on tf2op simply report. Or maybe add an admin so you can tell whenever he spams again.

You have entered into one of four scenarios;

A: This guy actually thinks that he is making a difference by calling a single person out on duping; Although you may be a random person, he still hates you and will try to get you to repent so he can become more trusted, or something.

B: He is confusing you with someone who sharked him (I wouldn't take you as a shark), as scrubs, most of us were sharked. He may have been sharked by someone else and is now mistaking you for someone who has hurt him.

C: He wants donations, he is going to try to get you to feel bad about having duped items (Which you don't) so that you will give them to him.

D: He is a troll; this seems to be the most logical answer because of the current state of the tf2 community. The best thing to do with trolls is to block them without a word of hatred or anger, and block them on the outpost as well.

Lastly, I could say that all of these scenarios would best be solved by blocking this player on steam and every other possible website that you are signed into via steam.

I hope my post was helpful, and good luck trading.
