Direct messages and advertising banner...

can someone tell me how to get rid of the direct message bar on outpost, its plain stoopid and i have to look at some dumb fat guys avatar everytime i come to the site. Also can someone please tell me why the advertising banner for the site covers your profile details and site options buttons, doesnt seem very intelligent at all and takes away from a great site...

To get rid of direct messages, just click the X in the top right corner.
To get rid of adverts, make a donation.

Can you make a screenshot? It sounds like you're browsing the site on a very low screen resolution.

If you don't like ads, just use adblock. It's free software. If you don't want to download it, you can always make a donation.
