Text coloring in trade notes

Text coloring doesnt work right after the update. When modifying existing trade notes, sometimes text doesnt change color after i apply coloring tags. For example, i change default text to #FFFFFF, press update, but color stays the same, symbols change, if i changed any, and new tags are gone. However, this issue manifests only in a certain case[imgur.com].

Code looks like this, no stray brackets or anything:

[color=#FFD700]Horrific Head of Hare [/color]{[color=#803020]█[/color][color=#256D8D]█[/color]} - 1 key, 9 ref

So, when i try to color "1 key, 9 ref", it doesnt work, tags disappear, but when i try to color lower lines (dark gray ones) it works just fine. Tested this on a new trade, with several different colors in a line, with those block symbols too - works fine. Seems like the problem manifests only on that exact trade on first lines of text.

So why does this happen? How to fix it?

Changing Color [New Outpost]

Im having a problem re-coloring my text in my trades with the new Outpost redesign and was wondering if I was the only one. Please comment down below if you are having the same issue!

I just fixed this issue on my trade by putting the bold command before the colour command, as the new layout makes the bold text a white colour, which overwrites the colour.

Bold, Strikethrough, etc not working when editing notes

With this new redesign, when you you go to one of your own trades, click on "edit notes", and attempt to add formatting to any text that is already there by highlighting it and clicking the appropriate button (Strikethrough, etc), after clicking submit, the changes do not occur and when you click edit again you can see the formatting code ([s] [/s] for example) has not been added to the notes.

This is happening in the Pale Moon browser (basically Firefox) in case the site is more optimized for chrome.

Edit: Ethlosaurus gave me a work around for now, after you apply the tags, copy the text including the tags and paste it over the exact same thing, although this should still be looked into by the devs

This is the case for me as well, except occasionally I am able to color or add a Strikethrough. I have no idea how to fix this but hopefully it will be changed soon :)

I'm using Chrome and got the same problem too. Not very nice, because now I have to delete the whole text ... Doesn't look very nice :|

color [color] only works if placed outside

As the title say's, i was having difficulty having a text with both effects bold and colored and it worked flawlessly on the previous design but on this i was only having the bold effect in spite of having color [color] code in my notes. i managed to figure out a way by placing the color code before the bold code for example - [color=blue]This code works[/color] and [color=red]This code doesn't works but worked with the previous design[/color]

This issue has already been noted. Not sure when a fix will be pushed for it, but it will hopefully be soon.

Huh, it works. This problem still needs to be fixed though, that new design just ruined everything.

Any progress with strikethrough problem (doesn't work at all. I tried add strikethrough before/after color code) ? It is not working (for me), is problem in my PC (browser) or someone still have same problem ?

The issue still stands, if you try to apply color via the "color" button to an already existing text (editing a post), it will not work. However, if you already had some colored text in the post before, and just copy and paste the code, it works! If you manually type in the code, it works too!
Not sure what the issue with that button is, but at least it is now possible to make our posts pretty again.
