[bug?] outpost chrome plugin does not interface with Linux STEAM client for offer scanning
I just installed the tf2outpost plugin for offers and such. Haven't had it long enough to form an opinion.

However, when I told it to enable offer scanning, it could not pick up that I am logged into STEAM.

I am willing to be this is due to me being in Linux. As such, I think this will not work for me without some form of update.

Can I get some feedback from a dev on this? I would like to leverage this feature, but I'm not going to use Windows.

Just to clarify, you need to be logged in within your browser on https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/

If you're already logged in and it's not working then I'll have to setup a virtual machine this weekend to replicate the issue. Let me know what distro of Linux you're using.

Okay it is working now. I went to the steam community site, logged in, and the plugin reports "idle" after hitting disable -> enable for offer scanning.

Thanks for the clarification! :)

FYI I'm using Ubuntu 15.10, and Chrome, not Chromium.

I'm also very pleased to see the response about spinning up a VM to try to reproduce it :3
