This was sort of a necropost considering this thread hasn't been revived for nearly 4 months.

Anyway, while it's ben revived, many people get their first Unusuals by:
1) Collect randomly dropped weapons for every week.
2) Sell each weapon for a scrap.
3) Turn the scrap into rec and eventually into refined.
4) Buy craft hats for less than their value (1.11 for craft hats)
5) Use the extra profit to buy more weapons for cheap.
6) Continue this process until you eventually have enough saved for an unusual.

Attempt to make profit from every trade, but remember sometimes taking a step backward is better than going forward. Buying a Bills is a good starting promo item and can easily be resold for 6 keys (unpainted). Save up for buds eventually depending in the unusual you prefer.

Then there are some that are so lucky and unbox unusuals.

Note: There are lots of other creative ways to get an unusual but this is one I find most successful.

Steam Support is the slowest ever, but in the end it's well worth the wait...depending on the outcome :p

Depending on the date of when you were trade banned, today perhaps? I don't see a loss of items or rather value of your backpack if it had anything to do with hijacked items like Liddo said. I don't believe that hijacked items are deleted though, they are typically duped and will remain in both backpacks which doesn't change the value any. It does happen at times when players mistakenly banned from Steam but this is a rare occurrence and by taking it up with them you shall be unbanned if what you are stating is of course, correct.

Typically after submitting a ticket it will take around 5 days or more before you get a response, be patient and you shouldn't expect to many delays in the process. Bumping will only create a longer waiting process and I can tell that you want to get back into trading soon.

Steam doesn't just ban your account because someone hit the report button in a trade or on your Steam profile page nor do reports add up, they investigate into it. This is just an extra feature in order to help rid of bad users, et cetera. They can't rely on only a simple user report to ban someone as many can create their own biases against some.

My Steam Support ticket was answered in 16 days when I got hijacked awhile ago, since then new features have been added to help ease he flow of these tickets, just be patient.

I have never came into contact nor noticed these ads on TF2 Outpost and I am not using any sort of ad blocker, et cetera; so I would say they have permanantly removed but if you still have them then obviously they haven't been delt with fully.

I don't even a need for this topic to even be open for further replies, like Billy I think all his questions were answered by everyone else that contributed to it.

They are not saying you can only have one, you just can't list the same stuff in every single trade.

Every single trade you made listed the same thing in your notes, you hade the same 5 weps in every trade note; priced the exact same even when they weren't displayed up top...

Perhaps it was wrong choice of wording on my part, apologies now let me reword it:

Never do I specifically offer the item, which is what you thought I meant by my inadequate statement to what I initially meant. It's more so asking if this would be acceptable which is basically like an offer but then again it's not. My main focus is to find interests in the item that I am eventually trading for, is it a high demand or not by the rest of the community. It wasn't my intentions to promote the use of false advertising to other users although it may have sounded that way. False advertising is a serious offense which I am highly aware of and should be strictly moderated by the Outpost staff.

I don't really trade on Outpost to much anymore so I wouldn't really know if this is becoming a more serious issue or not. I am defiantly not trying to start an argument about this though, it was simply my poor choice of words.
