In all honesty I do this quite often when I get a good offer on an unusual and I am highly interested in the offer. I will go around offering the unusual to other people in order to see the demand for it, etc. Now doing this is one thing, but spamming is another. While if you are referring to posting your offer on a bunch of different trades, it is not against the rules. But if you are referring to spamming on a single trade then I can see where the problem is.

In conclusion I don't believe there is a rule against posting other offers in trades before you get the item, specially if you are sure that you will receive the original offer if you went back to the trader because in a sense this could be considered falsifying or false advertisement. "Spamming" or more like posting in a bunch of different isn't against the rules, if I am not mistaken.

Honestly, I have no idea but I am leaning towards every time it's opened it counts as a view. Why are you wondering anyway?

If you check the date on many of the trades that are getting these offers/views/bookmarks, then you will see that they are fairly older trades. Make sure you are using the "bump trade" feature, so that your trade can be, well, bumped. Other then that, all I can say is be patient like you said above.

Considering Steam Support is very slow in responding to tickets, I would say it should be at least 14 days. When I got hijacked it took them 16 days to respond to my ticket so now, a hijacker can still wait the week, and take all the stuff if Steam Support doesn't respond quick enough.

What do you mean by.....make an offer?

There is a new safety feature that doesn't allow you to trade for 15 days upon logging in from a new computer. There is no way they can steal your stuff unless they wait.
