If that other website is publicly accessible so that everyone can verify your claim, I think listing it as c/o and also mentioning where that offer came from, should be fine. But only a mod can answer that for sure, of course.

From what I've seen that depends on the mod that handles a possible report. I've seen both, bazaar links getting closed and some - actually only one I reported so far I think - not being closed.
But this discussion I thought was pretty clear about that.

I don't have in depth knowledge of the Steam protocol.
I was using the latest official Steam Client available and used a little unicode trickery to have the first line blank - which is not possible with any space character (not even exotic ones). But that is not important anyway, I guess.
The sending client was a Win7, the receiving a virtual machine running WinXP. Maybe that has something to do with it. Haven't tried the other way around or using Win7 only.

But from what norby tells us, I take it that the /me is only interpreted in the receiving client and is not part of the protocol per se.

So I guess we can expect to see that feature vanish in the future. In my opinion, they could've just used something different, like bold, italics or maybe another color instead of removing it. Then again, who would really miss that feature anyway?

I'm sorry, reading my post again it may be perceived as a little harsh, or demanding. That was not my intention. It was just my opinion, as you asked.

Not against change at all, but my point was that the vast majority - in my opinion - would not like to see more services like yours on OP, but would more or less feel the same way as I do, that I consider that as a form of spam.

If your trade started out only as a trade and then became a service too, does not matter. You in effect bundled two different types of "trades" into one, with one of them not being a trade at all that most people - again in my opinion - would consider useless.
I could just make a naming service trade by also selling name tags for... let's say 2.33 ref, in effect circumventing the existing rules.

I don't fear that there will be many offering specifically your kind of service if that was officially allowed, but they will soon get creative and find other "services" (like naming, e.g.) demanding to be allowed too, and with good reason then.

I am confident there have to be other platforms you can use to advertise your service, maybe even more effectively. (but idk)

Your service might be appreciated by some, but not the majority of OP users. Take your service offer somewhere else and don't misuse OP trades to advertise it because you can find a large user base here.

Also, not all countries see entrapment as a reason to not prosecute. The US for example regularly entraps people for even minor drug and sex offenses, if I am not mistaken.

"fancy numbers" people like more than others for whatever reason is exactly what makes them a "collector level", vintage or not, there is no difference except the price.
