Look, I'm going to make this easy for you. We have this rule simply because misleading trades piss people off. If you saw a trade that had "1 key => 2 ref" and then you read the notes and it said "2.66 ref only" then you would get pretty annoyed right?

Everyone is tired of it. Adhere to the rule or get your trades closed. Simple as that. If you want 2.66 ref for your key, then put up 2 ref and 2 rec, don't make it look cheaper than you're asking for.

What do you think? I mean, an actual opinion, not just "well it doesn't say I shouldn't". If someone gets banned for bumping their out-of-stock trade, and then says "well the rules don't say I can't", then I will simply deny their appeal for ignorance.

I think it's because of themes. Delete your browser cache, and then change the theme back to normal on TF2OP.

tf2outpost.com would just redirect to outpost.x, and yes cross-game trades will remain. It works like this:

outpost.x => all trades
tf2.outpost.x => trades with tf2 items in, also backpack defaults to tf2
dota.outpost.x => trades with dota items in, also backpack defaults to dota
etc etc

It doesn't look as bad as: tf2.tf2outpost.com, and I kind of want to keep the "TF2" in the domain because that's OP's legacy. Looks like .tf is winning by far though, .gg was a nice idea but people don't seem to like it. Doesn't matter, I own it anyway heh.

So I've been working on a new feature that will allow you to default between different games by switching subdomains, for example. dota.tf2outpost.com and p2.tf2outpost.com. However, this has it's issues. Firstly, it isn't "tf2outpost" when you stick dota in front, it just doesn't sound right. So I'm proposing a rebrand of TF2 Outpost to simply Outpost.

This means that I have to get new domains to match this new brand. I've been searching for possible domains for a while now and have come up with a list of potentials. Here's a list:

- outpost.gg
- outpost.tf
- outpost.io (already registered, may not be obtainable)
- outpost.co (already registered, may not be obtainable)

I know that outpost.tf doesn't break the whole "tf2" theme, but it's a lot cleaner than what we have and retains some of what TF2 Outpost began as.

After some thinking I'm actually just going to stick with what we have and implement a system that saves your setting and allows you to change the filter quickly and easily. I'd rather not change the domain because there's actually a lot of migration work not only with the server but with underlying services and external applications.
