This is the nr 1 excuse a scammer will say to clear their name "it wasn't me, it was my brother/uncle/friend/dog using my computer while I was in the bathroom". I'm not here to judge whether you are telling the truth or not but you can see how hard it would be for you to prove that it wasn't actually you who was scamming people. It's your word against the fact that someone scammed people using your computer. You'll need very solid evidence if you want admins to even consider unbanning you.

No. It means they probably found someone else to trade with and they removed the friend request.

All trades are "visible" until closed. The point of bumping isn't visibility but visibility before others. As such it is purely competitive and creates an arms race where everyone tries to outbump the others.

That is why autobump is great. It gives more exposure to your trades, increasing your chance of selling/buying an item. When searching, people will look for the best trade but most of them will only check the first couple pages, not each and every trade. http://i.imgur.com/pBsXnYm.png

Yes it is an arms race for the top spots, however how is that in any way bad? You mentioned trades with items out of stock and old trades, both of which are reportable. What's wrong with the rest? When I wake up I usually get a couple adds from people who added me while i was offline. They don't mind waiting if they're getting a good deal.

Removing autobump won't solve much and would only create more issues. People resorting to autobump scripts which will make it even more confusing who's online and who isn't, mods having to deal with those who autobump their trades and lastly but not least the site getting little to no donation cuz let's face it the main incentive in donating is of course to get autobump.

Because not always I will know the name of the item ya know. I still don't know more than half the names of new robo hats or stuff released in past month. I know there is a kilt like thig for demo but I keep on forgetting its name

That is true, however there are so many items that finding that specific something is a brave task. Filters would help here.

This is overly complicating things, not to mention the average user wouldn't understand or care of how it works.

Most effective solution would be to receive feedback from mods when you report someone.

These would be standard messages, in addition to this they could contain notes from the mods if needed, like: "Please don't abuse the report system with pointless things or risk being banned."
