Connecting your facebook account increases your limit with +50. In addition to this each time you level up you get another +5 added to your limit.

Butthurt? Why would I be butthurt? I never saw your trade in the search results. I haven't bought a key with metal for months so I couldn't care less what you are selling it for. That doesn't change the fact that you will never sell that key at that price and it's pure spam that doesn't belong on the site. Your trade got rightfully closed, so stop complaining because you are getting nowhere with it.

The current range is between 5-6, nobody would trade for your rate right now. Will key prices rise to 8 Ref? Possibly but then again maybe not. Keys are not like unusuals or other items that can fluctuate greatly in price from one day to another. They are a currency and have a relatively small and steady range that 90% of people seem to be able to follow. There's 9% with outdated prices or just outside the range and then there's the 1% (you) who just wastes everyone elses time with silly trades like this one. So please do everyone a favor and keep your trolling to yourself.

Rates change all the time and nothing is set in stone, I don't see why that wouldn't be possible.

Phishers can buy old accounts or use stolen accounts to spam their links. It doesn't necessarily mean all of their accounts are new and that they don't have any items up for trade.

I don't know, it's in the rules of the site though.

I can't say I fully agree with this rule either but the ban is not permanent. You may appeal it any time after you set your inventory to public and you'll be unbanned.

They can still create trades with generic icons though.

Well if they ignore warnings then it's their own fault. Like I said, it no longer shows the modal for links to tf2outpost.com, but does for everything else.

Same thing can be said about people entering their information on phishing sites. If they didn't check the link first it's their fault. Browsers display a green banner in urls, it's still easy to miss. (I lost my account this way too once).

Of course it's impossible to completely fix this issue, it doesn't hurt to take extra measures against it though. I was talking about one of these algorithms:

It could be used to detect links such as steamccmunity.com and give extra warnings to the user in big bold red if it's a fake website while keeping the normal warning for any other external link.
