If the window size is too small the icons at the top overlap and they disappear.

This happened to me too when I turned off autobumping because I couldn't trade. I asked the admins if they can reopen closed trades and they said it's not possible. That's life.

Just reopen your trades and make sure you bump them at least once a week and you should be fine. You could set up a reminder to bump them ever friday or something. If your trades were indeed that popular I guarantee your clients will come back.

That's not true. Most traders prefer not to be disturbed with annoying adds that just waste their time with silly offers. When somebody adds you, you expect a successful trade. Stating that in your notes ensures them that you will accept their offer as soon as possible (minus when you're afk or unavailable), no need for comments or waiting for confirmations.

It's silly when you're selling keys and somebody replies with "I wanna buy 10, add me". No YOU add me.

I guess Valve assumed that the security of its users is a bigger priority than a feature that only a fraction would find important. The majority of people probably didn't even know about its existance and those who did can learn to live without it or find other means of describing actions.

It wasn't about impersonating Valve employees. It was removed because they could be easily confused with system messages. An increasing amount of scammers took advantage of that and abused it to trick people into thinking they can transfer wallet from one account to another. (which isn't that implausible after the release of the market)

That can tick me off the most and it happens way too often. Can't you spend 5 seconds of your life to say what you needed? "I wanted to buy something from you but I got it elsewhere, sorry." fine no prob, "I added you accidentally" alright. No, you have to wait until I accept your friend request (because you cannot be arsed to cancel it), message you without even bothering to reply with a hello and then delete me after wasting my time trying to pull out a word from you for 10 mins.
