This is very unfortunate and I feel really bad about the entire thing but in reality people place way to much trust in thier so called friends.Way to much trust is placed in individuals. People wake up please. I have seen familys pitted against one another becoming greedy and not trustworthy how much more can an individual you meet off the internet be. I am not saying there are not some very nice and trustworthy people in this community but please be carefull. Make sure your actually trading with the individual. Check the steamrep, take screenshots of all chat and be very cautious before you jump to hasty decisions.

Well of course everyday, with 200+ unusuals I have to be very careful because they like to slip in a unusual hat in place of a unique of the same style. It's got to the point with me eyes I have to get a magnifying glass, lol

Check your activity and see if you can pull up an old chat from the loser before its gone and screenshot it.

This happen to someone that added me out of the blue while I was in a server. They didn't get thier hat back but the scammer got a trade ban. At the very least file a steamrep report that is of course if you happen to get screenshotz of the trade and chat and get the scammer a trade ban. Man I feel for yas. This one has been around a long time but so few know not to do these things. There should be mandatory reading provided before anyone opening a new account and a nagging popup every 3 months that go out to all. Even more often if needed. I feel so sick when I see people, good people lose a hard earned unusual or any item to a frekin loser of a scam artist. Even if the nag were to be glosseed over at the very least it's there as a warning.

Watch out for all links. I know a friend that hit a giveaway site and it took him 4 hours to dig out the trojan/worm he got off the site. Be carefull with all, very carefull.

What about a man made. I know someone that has a man made and it has absolutely no level.

It doesnt matter what backpack its in, who carries it, or what website you look at it from even in your on backpack. Is this a rare? A steam glitch rare. I tried researching and could find nothing. I'm telling ya this thing has absolutely no level whatsoever I have never seen anything like before.

Try a restart of steam entirely. I've been getting this not just from outpost but from trade offers. Seems to be a steam glitch, restarting steam has fixed it for me everytime. But what a hassle.
What I hate even worse is the cookies not enabled glitch buying from market, again only fix is a restart

I beg to differ. Granted it was not a shark because it was not advertised as such, But in the mind of Pootis he knows it's a shark. He knows he was getting a great bit of profit off the hat. A sharks a shark period This is a classic example that I run to daily where complete noobs pay too much not knowing the value of what they are trading or paying. In this case Pootis knew and admits to such. This sir is a shark in the worst form and fashion. This is where decency steps in and says hey man you have placed the wrong item in the trade and or hey man you are paying too much. Instead the trader in questiion decides its better to walk and say to himself oh well his tuff luck and my gain. The definition of sharking, period....IMO
