The only thing that makes a shark better than a phisher is the fact they do it in your face instead of hiding behind thier fake profiles. I feel bad for ya my freind. I was sharked when I started out long ago. They still and always will leave a bad impression on me. That's why I hate overpay.

18 and under older hats and effects, items though no good except crates 1. 3 and 4 possibly get you black or white paint value 2 keys. 19 and up newer hats old and new effects = bad. example bonk boy green energy 18 and below. 19 and up = piece of junk possible newer effect worthless. IMO. I use to open only 19, 24, 25, 31, 33 and 38 of those I have probably opened 2000 in the last month. All I got was newer hats and older effects. One green energy out of the 20 or so I opened. Not good

Bullcrap, That is the silliest, stupidest dayam thing I've heard in the last 2 years. I post to other sites and in fact I get hit by less phishers from outpost than I do others I wil not mention. Like the mods say they are doing what they can and it's a valve/steam problem. Quit you griefing and form your own little website somewhere and make some trades. Good grief man.

No one likes to see others get ripped off. I have tracked down litterally dozens upon dozens and stood by helping people that come to me in despair helping them and coaching them on what to do. Why don't you do something like that?

Thats it, BINGO. Form a group against phishers and spread the news and get out there hunt down the victims. Then do all you can to help them. Reassure them that after they are phished they will get thier stuff back. Help them through the process of sending tickets to steam support. Help calm them down man. These peeps just lost it all and are on the verge of crying.

In other words actually do something about it instead of coming here and placing all the blame down on one website, duh......just IMO

Its comments like this that really get to me. First off do you really expect a website to go down because of phishing? Secondly, It would not matter if they blasted it out in huge red lettering before you make any postings: beware posting here may in fact cause you to be phished.The fact is people don't read. I will be the first to admit I have not completely read the rules and regs here. I know this because of what I have in my postings and the responses I get fom people that DON'T READ.

And what would you have the outpost do go down until valve takes care of the problem? That comment is actually the dumbest thing I have heard in a long time. I read it and walk away wondering just who's side your are on my friend.

You do have some good stuff thier about posting a warning. Heck why not just set up a pop up each time you post explaining what phishing is, how it's done and how to protect yourself from it. Then lets take it a step further and place another warning in the same pop up on how to check for dupes, sharks and last but not least a quick switch attempt. And lets make it mandatory reading with a tiny little box that must be check marked before you can post, that way most of the bases are all covered then folks like you have no excuse to post something as degrading as "shouldnt you take down your site?". just IMO.

There here to stay it looks like. Everyone has been affected by it or has a freind that has get use to it. In fact why not try and do your best to make it more difficult for the hijackers like reporting them. In fact you can even pull off some very funny tricks on the hijackers themselves, that is if you have a mind to. But to lay the blame at one trading site or valve and steam in general is not constructive as the earlier post reply stated. I think after the ddos attack yesterday valve/steam in general has a lot of problems but to jump the boat when you might be able to actually help is senseless, not constructive. Like I said make it fun. When you really stop to think about it theres a lot you can do to these pitiful creeps other than complain! IMO only.
