This isn't helpful. Clearly there's still many issues. If people keep saying everything is fine, all our problems might get ignored. I'm already noticing the newly made complaints aren't even being put in the to-do list anymore..

I'm surprised the 11 slots per row hasn't been fixed.

You need at least 10 items in your backpack before you can create account.
You need at least 20 items in your backpack before you can post a comment.
Those items have to have you as their first owner, meaning you can't just switch items around through alts. It's not hard to do because it's a simple check of their item history.


Sound harsh? Well, it's not hard to get 2 items, either.


The average new player will get roughly 8 items per week; 5 - 12 items, if luck allows.

Meaning your account has to be 1 - 2 weeks old, to create an account.

And 2 - 4 weeks old, to post a comment.

Wow. Looks like a long while ago, they added Themes. I'm sure I contributed to it after I posted the suggestion.

I figured it was pretty clear in the rules or whatever, for me it hasn't exactly changed much. Maybe people are just too stupid and I have to type in another sentence in my already simplified notes, another sentence that they won't bother reading.

At the top+bottom of every page that has the list of trades on it, and on Your Trades, Matches, and Search, have it say :

Most Traded (past 24 hours) shouldn't include the metal / keys / currency / offers / random / wildcard / common stuff.

There should be The Most Traded (past 24 hours) for "hat , misc , weapon , crate , other"


In future, add choices to switch back to "retro" mode. There will always be people who are nostalgic, and counter "well THE OLD WAY WAS BETTER!!!! wah wah wah wah".

Even if it's an improvement. Which it probably is.


Also, add the choice to change text/background colors through : themes.

• Nostalgia (original version; also changes layout)
  
• Modern Outpost (current look)
  
• Leisure Green (forest-y colors)
  
• Sea Blue (deep blues)
  
• Clean Slate (bright, whiter colors)

I suggest not make this a donor feature. Many people might be eye hurt from certain themes. And possibly a majority of outpost aren't donators. Maybe I'm wrong.

At least it'll encourage them to log on.


Maybe add a way to personalize the layout.

Call them "widgets" if you must. Of course, make it simple enough so people don't pass out, but enough so people are satisfied with their life.


Add an "item count" to the backpack.
Add "current maximum backpack space".
Also "spaces left" to that.

And also :
- total number of hats
-- total number of unusuals
- # of weapons
- # of crates
- amount of metal
- etc etc etc


Eventually return "help".

It's supposed to be where Rules are, but I guess you'll get back to it when you read all of these suggestions.
