What difficulty did you choose?
I went with veteran. Normal was a bit too easy but I found elite didn't allow me to enjoy the game.

For online play do you have to match difficulties?

Regarding online play, the room you create/join sets the difficulty, which means that it is indeed possible to join an Elite game with a Casual character or vice versa. Oh, and I play on Veteran.

When i started with the game for the first time i went for normal, but i quit with that as it was too easy. Since then i went to veteran, which is more my liking. Probably because i play also other rpg's.

i found the game to easy on normal, was planing on upgrading to either vetaran or elite. is Elite just a death feast? or it can be done ralitivly easy with more tactic?

Went with Veteran myself. Wasn't looking for a facemelting difficulty, and it's been somewhat challenging enough as a squishy embermage.
