it's a complete rework of EVERYTHING. so everything you know now? gone.

Crafting is just a tiny bit important, instead of you scrap guns for the 3 levels of engineering and then you said ♥♥♥♥ off. if you find an iconic weapon you want to upgrade to a higher rarity. you are going to need to deconstruct a lot of things. For most weapons lot of rarities you'll find out that the upgrade for the first is 20 and then usually 40. legendary scale even higher almost doubling every time you upgrade giving it almost infinite upgrades at the cost of your chrome and your soul, i mean whatever's left of your soul being sucked out by the relic or whatever.

Speaking of Chrome some of the key cybernetics you can get your hands on (sandys, decks, Berzerks) all have incredibly high upgrade prices. Weapons you can find scale with your level and Street cred, (was finding mostly legendary at 30 level and 50 street cred) you'll end up finding most of your upgrades fairly often if you're using normal weapons but if you're upgrading iconic weapons you have tons of crafting materials at your disposal if you dismantle the weapons or you can sell them if you need eddies. (there's also new cybernetics and all the old ones are most likely reworked)

Speaking of eddies you'll end up picking up upgrades for your dull knife or gun that keeps cooking off in your hand more than actually buying new weapons so you'll end up having large amounts of cash you don't know what to do with I encourage you spend that money on cybernetics then weapons or this that and the other because it requires more upgrade components to upgrade your weapons and you should wanna spend that in your cybernetics instead, this will help you end up saving time a this will help you end up saving time and components.

I did not mess with quick hacking that much, it's mostly the same but a lot of things were tweaked. You can now find deamons out in the game, but when you do find them it's most likely going to be crafting in grams, best way to get crafting engrams and components is by doing the hacking all around the world with your personal link. If you really want you can buy your deamons, as they're not common, it will burn a hole in your pocket, if you're not using deamons you can sell them and make a quick buck.

Melee is not the same but also the same. Before it was go under cool tree go then under reflex grab a weeb sword, annnd spam left click into your brain falls out of your ears. Now it's more like walk up, dash up, run up, jump up, jump to, someone press F and siphon their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ soul. Or stand on the other side of the in the middle nowhere. get shot at by a sniper, look in their general direction while holding right click, and question why the bullet ricocheted off your weapon and then why there's a baloney mist 3 kilometers that way, then you take 5 minutes, realize what you did, pat yourself on the back and then say "yeah I meant to do that yeah i meant to do that" (btw you can ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ use a sword OFF A BIKE, yes you can recreate that John Wick scene)

throwing weapons, kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick, have you ever wanted to reenact the Hell's Kitchen intro from you know Gordon Ramsay, congratulations go under the cool tree. grab some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealth while you're at it and just become a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ninja. (shurikens not included) or just throw an axe at someone but you know, you do you.

Vehicle combat, congratulations people that pick nomad can now be nomads. There's also vehicle mounted guns, I don't need to say anymore. Turn on the radio put on your favorite radio station, drive by some tiger claws, and have a good day.

Smart weapons actually have their own skill tree under intelligence now, instead of getting like three perks under the technical tree, then grabbing body or reflex to complement shotguns or pistols, and you end up turning yourself into the world's smartest bodybuilder by complete accident.

Clothing basically means nothing now. unless you really like small increases, including but not limited to, chemical resistance, armor, quickhack upload speed, quickhack resistance, reload speed, healing efficiency.

now that clothing is useless other than becoming the rizzler. you now get all of your armor from cybernetics. like from subdermal armor that lies under the skin. (hence the subdermal part)all the way to titanium bones, yet somehow when i fall i still make bone crunching sounds, or when i hit a brick wall going 140 on jackie's bike that i told mama wells that i take good care of.


Phantom Liberty, is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ breath of fresh air. the normal campaign is blown out of the water in comparison, attention to detail, characters, story progression, story plot. all of it was outstanding. i'm not gonna say anything else on it. please just go play yourself.

If you don't have it. get it. (If you were wondering when you start the DLC. after voodooboys so 3ish hours if you don't do the side content)

2 months for a hotfix. just nah. i'm good I'll pick this back up in a year

It's now 3/28/24. the game is playable. Doesn't mean it's good now.

It's now 5/4/24 I have been given "jesters" I will reply with cope harder your game is piss easy now. game is still not fun.

It's now 7/25/24 the game is now. "fun" it most likely do to me playing with friends. everything is better when your not talking about the game your playing. i'll change the review to thumbs up as the game is in a much much better state. still really has a large lack of content and is not a "1.0" game in anyway. it's getting there slowly. bring back Simon Viklund

THE GAME IS NOW WHAT IT SHOULD HAVE LAUNCHED AS.

If you hadn't played it in a while, the game play hasn't changed but progression, crafting, challenges, skill/perks, weapons. have been tweaked/changed. (please make scoped longlaz)

as of typing patch 12 is where the game should have launched. let's see if fat shark ♥♥♥♥♥ this up.

Re-Elected did give us all the DLC for free. But didn't update the game at all. They gave us Crossplay. But The game Is still buggier then ever. Yet they call it Re-elected. waste of my time. and yours.

Don't touch it *UNLESS* you wanna play the Saints Row 4.

The Remaster/Re-elected Version is no where to be seen.
