It's a gacha game that took the soul of Persona 5 and took a massive dump on it. The story is bland, the game holds your hand EVERYWHERE, and it's so ungodly boring.. Do yourself a favor and just play Persona 5 Royal instead. You'll be saving yourself more money by doing so as well.

This is genuinely one of the greatest video games I have ever played. There's so much in it that gives the game so much life, so much intrigue, and so many things to actually do, unlike what we see with many modern titles. I know this is mostly a remaster of the og P5, but even still, it's incredible.

Genuinely one of the most unique and chaotic shooters I've ever played.

Embark finally got their stuff together and Cashout is even better than ever

I finally got the chance to play this game thanks to a brand new steam deck. (It runs O.K on the deck. Not perfect but it gets the job done and it is playable from start to finish. Not like this game requires a lot of skill outside of skill checks)

It's alright as a game. I'm a sucker for DBD lore so obviously I'm biased. I think it's been best said by the majority of people who have played this:
- If you don't know anything about DBD, you probably wont pick up much on the references. At that point its just an ok story game.
- If you play DBD casually and dont really engage with the lore, you might pick up on some references but probably wont get the full picture.
- If you are a DBD lore nerd like me, you'll appreciate how well this game connects to DBD as a franchise, even if the characters in this game are kinda... eh...

Original Review:
This game is not optimized at ALL

Upon launching the game, my GPU temp spiked to 91 degrees celsius, and even after lowering the graphics settings, it kept going higher as I started to play the game.

If Supermassive optimizes this game, I'll consider rebuying/re-installing it. But for now, I am putting in my refund request cuz I ain't risking my PC over this game.

Edit:
I'm using an AMD 6600 XT. My GPU is nowhere near old enough to be having issues running this game.

Edit #2:
It has run games like Baldur's Gate 3, Half Life Alyx, and The Finals at high graphics with zero problems. I generally turn them down for better performance, but I have run games at higher graphics without issue. There may have been an issue with my PC not being cleaned out, or my software freaking out for some reason, but I'm just telling you what I experienced, I don't know what else to tell you.

The game is fun... If you're playing with friends. Solo queue is a joke in this game.

It's not worth $40

The game is beautiful, but I physically can not bring myself to play this any further because I have Thilasophobia.

Game looks fun otherwise.

It's alright. The game is fun and is genuinely pretty spooky at times, but nothing that will keep you up at night.

The combat was fine, albiet a bit clunky, and there were some bugs where I got stuck on objects after dodging, but it's overall a fun experience with some interesting puzzles and a... confusing but interesting story.

The game is pretty fun. It can be confusing at first, but as you unlock more items and learn what to look out for, it becomes a lot more fun!
