I finally got the chance to play this game thanks to a brand new steam deck. (It runs O.K on the deck. Not perfect but it gets the job done and it is playable from start to finish. Not like this game requires a lot of skill outside of skill checks)

It's alright as a game. I'm a sucker for DBD lore so obviously I'm biased. I think it's been best said by the majority of people who have played this:
- If you don't know anything about DBD, you probably wont pick up much on the references. At that point its just an ok story game.
- If you play DBD casually and dont really engage with the lore, you might pick up on some references but probably wont get the full picture.
- If you are a DBD lore nerd like me, you'll appreciate how well this game connects to DBD as a franchise, even if the characters in this game are kinda... eh...

This game is not optimized at ALL

Upon launching the game, my GPU temp spiked to 91 degrees celsius, and even after lowering the graphics settings, it kept going higher as I started to play the game.

If Supermassive optimizes this game, I'll consider rebuying/re-installing it. But for now, I am putting in my refund request cuz I ain't risking my PC over this game.

Edit:
I'm using an AMD 6600 XT. My GPU is nowhere near old enough to be having issues running this game.

It has run games like Baldur's Gate 3, Half Life Alyx, and The Finals at high graphics with zero problems. I generally turn them down for better performance, but I have run games at higher graphics without issue. There may have been an issue with my PC not being cleaned out, or my software freaking out for some reason, but I'm just telling you what I experienced, I don't know what else to tell you.
