10/10 Would defend Japan against the Mongols again!

Ghost of Tsushima is a movie....erm game about you questioning the ways of the Samurai and becoming a ninja!

Its a wonderful story full of supporting characters that all have their amazing mini arcs to flesh out the overall world building.
Moral dilemas and growth all integrated in a gorgeous artstyle that makes you stop and admire the scenery every hour.

Combat is fun and you have a wide variety of weapons at your disposal.

+ a lot of side content in terms of collectables and exploration.

The mini expansion is great way to get some additional growth ot the main hero.

Absolutely a must-buy for any player who enjoys Assassins Creed and/or Japan/Samurai culture.

Darksiders 2 -> 9/10

My favorite in the Trilogy.
Death is a great character and the gameplay and lore have been polished a bit more to pack everything into a nice little game.
One of the old classics and definitely worth checking out if you are unsure.

Darksiders 1 -> 8/10

The one that started it all!
A fantastic little jewel!
Its an great hack-n-slach fun with some platforming that occasionally annoys.

The vibes and visuals and the world are very cool and then you can follow with Darksiders 2 which is even better.
(*but 3 is pretty mid!)

Buy for 10 euro and have a fun weekend with it!

What a shame,

If you are a fan of the series you may want to get this on a heavy discount just for the sake of completing the Trilogy.
But i must warn you, this is the weakest of them all.

The visuals and atmosphere is there in all its glory.
But the story is quite poor.
In fact it was very weak and there were no characters to care about.

The Deadly Sins are reached and fought too fast and there is no clear meaning behind them.
Yes, allegedly they are naughty evils who will harm humanity but the Angels and Demons already destroyed the earth, i dont see how the Sins had any meangful impact plotwise.

My biggest gripe however is the horrible level design.
Nothing really flows naturally, and a lot of the platforming and puzzles feel forced and unneccesery!
I was legit getting frustrated on every single level.
Many things are not clear and the lack of map and the tightly packed levels made everything more confusing than it should have been.

I now understand why some studious resort to tricks like the climbing yellow paint.

And the puzzles were obscure and annoying too, ive played many games with added extra platforming levels/parts and i dont think ive ever felt more frustrated than with this game.

Basically tons of potential for an amazing franchise but they didnt know what direction to take and how to build the world.

And the result is this.... what a shame.

Game runs smooth and is gorgeous but thats about all good i can say.

Im sure there was a story but amidst the violence and metal music you just dont care much for it.

The level design is amazing!!!
The atmosphere on point!
The gameplay loop fun!
The Dragon Riding mechanic is fun and badass.
Mecha Titan however, probably sounded cool and looks badass in cutscenes.
But the gameplay was barebones and boring. Good idea though, might need to polish it and make it more exciting for future reference.

10/10 Would make Demons Fear me Again!

*sure hope we get a 4th installment this is too good and fun to end at a trilogy.

Absolute BANGER!

Guardians of the Galaxy is one of those amazing games that just flies under the radar on release for whatever reason.
Its super fun and absolute blast to play.
An old school type of on-rails adventure.
Chapter based linear but oh so so fun!

The dialog banter alone makes it worthwhile! Yeah its that good!!!
I honestly feel like 40% of the budget went into the voice acting and comedy!
They nailed the Guardian vibes!

Absolutely reccomend its criminal we dont have a sequel!

*Very Important: I played this on a native Windows 10 PC.*

I know people have problems on Windows 11 and you need tech fixes to get it running so thats important.
But for me the game ran smooth as water. 0 Issues / 0 crashes / 0 lag

Glory for the Emperor.

I just finished the IMperium campaign and there are 3 more!!!!!!
This game is basically a simplified Total War 40k in Space.
I wont be surprised the recently announced actual TW to have taken some things from Armada.

The story and setting are beautiful integrated with each other. Gameplay loop is awesome but it does get a bit grindy as there are just so many attack constantly nagging your systems and as you conquere more sectors it becomes a bit of a chore to managed the attacks.

There are multiple plots to follow 1 for each faction you fight so that was a very nice touch.
The story was really good and made total sense.

Absolute Cinema as they say!

My only regret is this title apperantly flew under the radar and not too many people got into it.
It really is sooo good.
I hope the devs patch it for Win11 and allow more people to experience it.

Super under-appreciated game!

Game Of The Year 2025!

"For those who come after..."

The hype is real and after sweeping a bunch of awards including GOTY i finally decided to give it a go. (i was trying to finish some backlog on steam but oh well...)

The game lives up to the expectations!
Fantastic story and visuals.
Gameplay caught me by surprise as this is more of a JRPG type of game.

I havent played anything like Final Fantasy in a long time and this was a fresh take on things.
Also pretty cool to see a western studio dable in this genre.

Considering the history/lore behind the studio that made the game id say buy at any price range you can.
Being a GOTY means you will never regret it, but supporting them is important i think.

What Sandfall made with just 33 devs who left Ubisoft is a testament that creativity in gaming is alive and well and just needs the freedom to create games we love to play.

There is tons of things to do and even after story ends you can expect to hangaround and level up, explore and uncover more of the story.

The characters and writing is phenomenal, i cried in the first 20 minutes of this game and i was hooked.

10/10 Would go on an Expedition again!

Amazing Spider-Man is Amazing!

Playing this game is like watching a 10 Episode TV Show about Spider-Man!
I mean absolute cinema.

Gameplay and city swinging is just perfection!
They really nailed down the super hero vibes of being Spidey!
This game reminds me of The Batman Arkham games. yes its that good!

In fact i originally played it on PlayStation but when it was discounted on Black Friday i just bought it here on Steam and replayed it again!
+ finally completed the DLC stories which were also amazing!
Tons of extra little side missions and tasks to do as well so you get a lot of value out of it.

10/10
