I'm not sure how to review a mod loader. Anyway, it's good.

I give Celeste a... honestly? I don't know what allegory I could give.
Celeste is extremely hard and extremely fun. Each chapter bringing a new and unique challenge into the equation. Not to mention, even beyond the main game there is a lot of bonus content such as the B-Sides.
And the game heartfully reminds you that this is just a game. If you're getting frustrated, take a breather and come back when you're ready.

Apex is a game that's kind of impossible to recommend or not recommend because it's a live service and changes all the time. Either way, I think it's good at its core.

Maybe I'm over-exaggerating, but No Man's Sky might be one of the best games I've ever played.
The game-play is very addicting and very open, giving you this big galaxy and letting you do whatever you want.
The game has a great atmosphere (both figuratively and literally) and while not looking the best up close it can definitely be excused.
And the fact that this giant universe even exists on top of being proceduraly generated is a technical marvel.
All of that from an amazing team that refused to leave behind something they love.

Oblivion was more or less the foundation of modern RPGs as well as other things (looking at you, Horse Armour) but it hasn't really aged well, especially when you look at things like Fallout: New Vegas. The difficulty system is out of date, the levelling system is weird, things like that. But again we've still gotta give it credit for it's impact on RPGs.

Since Splitgate is now in its final version, I thought I'd remake my short review.

Splitgate is very solid. It has its issues, but it's solid.
The portals are very fun to play with and try to master.
The guns, though not varied, do their job well.
The current model is great as a final season or even just a non-live service multiplayer game in the modern day.
Of course, it has problems such the playlists being weird when I thought they were perfect back in Season 2.
Also, why did they stop posting announcements in Steam?

TL;DR this entire game is an innuendo and I love it.

Introduction

Deepest Sword is a fun, short and sweet game that is absolutely full of innuendos. Nothing more beyond that that I know of.

The Story

The story is very simple. you try to stab a Dragon with your ever growing sword. I told you there was going to be innuendos.

The Gameplay

The gameplay is like Getting Over it. You have your sword and that’s what you use to climb. Each time you stab the Dragon and ultimately fail to slay it you are sent back to the start of the level with a bigger sword. Now, you may think that this would make the game easier as you go on but surprisingly the opposite is true. It causes you to be unable to go through short corridors well. The game is also very built for speedrunning which is something I always love.

Outro

Overall the game's great. What else do I say?

Disclaimer
I'll go ahead and say here that I might be a bit biased having never played the original Evil Genius nor knowing anything about it. Also, I've never beaten any of the campaigns yet as of writing this.
Personal Likes
-The game is overall very cartoony and I love cartoony things. (I watch MLP what can I say?)
-Building is fun even if a chore at times which I'll get to later.
Personal Dislikes
-There's a heck of a lot of quality of life stuff missing, most namely mass selection in the build mode. It makes turning on stuff and replacing stuff a chore even if it feels real satisfying to do.
-The AI isn't the best. If I'm trying to get Max away from enemies I have to spam right-click to get him to move or else he thinks he's immortal, tries to kill the enemy, then dies. I also wish you could set priority on things.
-The game gets really slow at times. Run out of money and the game slows down to a halt as you wait to get more money from schemes or the Casino.
Final Judgement
Despite its flaws, I still love this game and think those flaws can be fixed in the future.

4D stuff in general is absolutely mind boggling and I love it. 4D Toys is a great representation of it all. The 3D in 2D scenarios are a great way to explain how the 4D in 3D scenarios work. Using the Wireframe in 3D in 2D greatly explains how the Wireframe works in 4D in 3D as well. I do with there were a few more 3D in 2D scenarios but it's still a good amount and the main focus is and should be the 4D in 3D scenarios. Honestly I have absolutely no idea how all of this was made but kudos to the creators as it was probably extremely hard.

TLDR 4D Toys is a great representation and explain of 4D.

The good
The progression and verity in equipment is good. It's easy to tell where the player is purely by what they have.
The grind is rather satisfying. It'll take a while to finally get an item you've been working towards, but it feels great once you get it.
The difficulty settings are good, Journey if you want a more sandbox experience, Classic for beginners, Expert for...not beginners, and Master for those who want gruelling difficulty.
The bad
The NPC system is not good. The NPCs themselves aren't useful beyond the moment you get them (and sometimes never) and the happiness system is a poor attempt at immersion that, if anything, decreases the immersion and makes the system more exploitable.
The Evil spread puts the player on a time limit that really isn't fitting for a game like this.
The start of hardmode sucks due to how the Evil and Hallow are spawned. The Evil will likely take over at least one town and if it spawns in the Jungle then you're gonna have a really hard time.
Overall
Terraria is a core case of what I consider me having bad opinions because the problems I have with it are not problems I've noticed anyone else has. And while the equal amounts of goods and bads I gave may make it seem like I'm more mixed on Terraria...I actually just don't like it. I do not like vanilla Terraria. That being said, I still recommend it because these are only problems I have.
