This is THE idle game. It has slow pacing by being designed as a phone game, meant to be checked in with once or twice a day, micro-managed if that's your thing.

As someone who likes stupid, idle games this one's kept me coming back. The monotization is both non-aggressive and surprisingly fair for a mobile game.

Early game things are rather simple and dull, but there is a tangible sense of progression. This is where the desire for the games in game loot boxes is hottest, but you can still earn a few of them a day by just cycling through the really easy to do missions in hopes of getting a legendary weapon/dweller-- something that's nice for the early game

Later game, once you've unlocked all the facilities and have missions on farm, crafting all of the shiny legendary items is easy and the game becomes more of a collectathon vault building game, where even 100$ of the in game lunchboxes won't give you much of substance. Seriously, I have no desire to ever purchase lunchboxes or anything of the type. Once you get three Mr Handies you're safe to just let the game idle, too.

All together a fun game, if you don't mind how inactive it is. It's why I play it.
