Supporting good developer making a good game and gave my kickstarter key to a friend. Happened to be his birthday, I had no idea.

Got my name in the credits with the $8 backing and fulfilled a childhood dream:

The gameplay is solid, more of the same formula that makes this game great. Story is deep, with native support for multiple monitors and the game is running smooth at 5040x1050, all settings maxed.

Fun game. Unfortunately marred as a contender for worst multiplayer/co-op in video game history. This is what we waited years for? Owned.

This is one of the best games I have ever played.

I have been playing this game since beta, I played on release and I keep coming back to play more. As the game matures, it is comstantly getting better. The developers have learned from their mistakes and have put in a great deal of time and effort into making the game better with great success and because of this I will play the game for many more years to come.

As I write this, the game has never been stronger, a feat not many games can say 18 months after release.

Average player base August 2016: 15832.73 (old high)
Average player base last 30 days: 15853.09 (mid way through Nov 2017)

The numbers speak for themselves. This game is fun.

This is a great baseball game that fills the itch quite well. Hitting feels good. Pitching is well done, with lots of options. The base running is okay.

It reminds me of Baseball Stars of old, minus some of the customization depth of that old classic.

A solid PC baseball game, made with love.

Now we need to convince them to make a hockey version of this. Think 70's rough and tough, missing teeth and no hemets.... bloody hits, and broken legs. These guys could do it.

I don't enjoy watching threads I am following being deleted and users being banned because they are emotional about something important to them.

A lot of people are upset with the paid DLC, while still in Early Access. To me this is a sign that the game won't be optimized much beyond what we have now, they are branching out into things that will make them money. Whatever, I mean, this is not the worst thing to have happened to gamers. But...

For now, I am giving this game a thumbs down, because they are not treating the community with respect. Nothing bothers me more than censorship.

Edit: Today they doubled the price. Impossible to recommend this game in good conscience.

Easily one of the best games ever for kids. I watched an 8 year old and a 9 year old going from constant fighting, to instant joy that never ended until they were forced to quit. When all hope of their joy was lost, this game brought them together in gales of unending laughter.

The game is silly and fun, but it really is best played with kids who can find the real gem that this game is.

PS: To play splitscreen on dual monitors with nvidia: NVIDIA Control Panel / Configure Surround, PhysX: checkmark in 'Span displays with Surround', hit 'Configure..." and adjust as needed (I didn't have to adjust anything) then boot into goat simulator. Each player can have a full screen to themselves. Enjoy! Also works for other games.

Fun game. Matchmaking needs some serious work for this game to be really enjoyable.

Epic Games bought Psyonix, Inc.

I love the game, but I won't be supporting the practices of Epic Games. Guess that the end of my investment into Rocket League.

(UPDATE: Just avoid like the plaugue. Planned microtransactions, premium ships only for mods and admins, and rich kids who can buy the other premium ships. Requests to downvote reviews, closing topics, banning users and REMOVING PLANNED CONTENT because of an unhappy playerbase. These guys are among the worst developers in the business. This experiement of a game has failed, time to wait for the next big hope, run by people that actually care about the community)

In the time I played I never felt a connection to anything. Big wide open spaces, npc ships. It felt like a lot of effort to go somewhere that looks and feels the same as every other spot. The water was not exciting. No big battles with giant whitecapping waves, rocking the ships, making you fight the waves and time your shots. Instead it feels arcady. Still fun, but lacking those moments of intense excitment and real skill that mother nature randomly provides. Wind should change during battle... why remove reality, when it would be a solid addition to the gameplay mechanics?

I love that you can see the shore now in battle, and use it as a tool. This makes the wind direction actually important (wind that changed direction could be a real challange).

Remaining in aiming view when looking around that ship would really help keep the immersion in battle, but instead looking around to get your bearings is penalized with a game mechanic that is a little jolting.

What I would give for life to be in the ocean and land to look at as I walk along the line of my ship, maybe even enter my cabin, as the men run about taking care of the ship.

Important things to keep the immersion, as most of the time in the game is spent in transition from one place to another. Instead we can only look at a stripped down version of our actual ship, dead seas, and calm sailing, with storms so weak they are easily missed.

There is potential here, the question is: will it be realised? I think it is imporant for developers to listen to the community and seriously consider if they are doing the right thing or not.

I just want to support these guys with a positive review. The game has come such a long way from the beta I played years ago, still true to its roots everything feels very polished now.

Multiplayer works flawlessly (and is super fun), combat is challenging and has to be approached with caution and thought. Details matter: Yes, climbing through broken glass windows will cut you, and the bandages you put on better be changed, or RIP.

I broke my back and died. Lack of awareness.

At full price this game is a steal. At sale price this game is a robbery. Impossible not to get your monies worth in this gem of a game, that once again teaches us: gameplay trumps graphics every time.

(Bad nerves or brain damage are the only plausible reasons 15% of people do not recommend Project Zomboid)
