This is a cute version of the original. The sound and music is a clear step back, and Simon Chylinski's loss is felt more than anything else... thanks for that cancel culture. The game is less immersive, but is much smoother than the original. Technically this game is a big step forward and there are a lot of QoL improvements the original would benefit from, but the environment feels more claustrophobic and limited in the starting area.

Overall I am happy with what is presented, but I do miss that real foreboding atmosphere the original nailed.

The land part of this game is almost enough to make a person want to quit playing. Then when you consider about only 25% of people have achievements for land activities, it becomes clear how much of a chore this part of the game is. It really makes me nostalgic for the superiority of the first games environments.

I wanted to like this, but the word tedious comes to mind when I think of playing this game. Tedious.

I keep coming back to this game, and it keeps getting better. Empyrion has a lot going on and manages to pull it all together into one very enjoyable experience.

Great game, with an overwhelming amount of expensive DLC that never goes on sale for a decent price. The company has taken a step back from what it once was, and I am now hesitant to ever support them again.

This game simply gets better as time progresses. In the beginning I thought for sure this was going to be another early access bust, but the developer has proven himself to be genuine.

I am glad I supported the game early on, and can't wait to see the future improvements to be had.

10/10 will be the impostor and kill family again.

Alien Isolation is one of the best games ever made. Watching people's first play-through on Twitch is a truly entertaining experience.

I'll probably put more hours into this game, because I am a sucker for them, but this one is shallow. I enjoy building the ships, but once you have them, there is not much to do with them. Very few creatures in the game. Everyone has a bear mount. Travel time takes forever. Blueprints are not rewarding. Floatsum and shipwrecks are boring. Ship battles are boring.

The actual construction of buildings is good, and easier than Ark.

The variety in the world is ultimately this games downfall, where the bigger ship you get the less fun you have.

Welcome to Atlas, a shallow paid mod of Ark, with better ships and far less diversity.

When I think of tank battles, this is the only game that comes to mind. IMO the best RTS game ever made. I like the simplicity and micromanaging that is needed to succeed. I like the stupid pathfinding. I like everything about this game.

I just wish someone I knew owned the game so I could play some skirmishes with them against the AI.

I love this game. Everyone loves this game.

My family is close and we get along quite well, but that doesn't stop us from becoming downright ruthless in the fight for victory.

This is a great game, good for all ages, and filled with tons of replayability. SP is great for a more relaxing experience, but MP is where the adrenaline is. I cannot recommend this game enough.
