Probably the best VR sword fighting game on the market. This is the absolute closest your ever going to get to For Honor VR. This is probably by far my most favorite VR game yet.

However I do think the game has a long way to go. (I'm just kind a being picky here-): My character feels like a big box as far as where he can be hit, instead of a human shape. Sometimes the other guy's sword goes through mine without breaking it and damages me (could be a ping/latency issue on my end). The game also needs a larger community to help support it.
I almost would rather see the blade hardening feature removed. As it kind a takes the skill out of it. The primary method I see people use is hardening the green blade waiting to break your blades then they dart in... that's just unrealistic. My blade would realistically still be there so if I held it infront of me he'd run right into it. Again that's being picky especially since parrying isn't a thing because you're not actually hitting anything.
As of right now realistic melee combat isn't really possible. For instance VR sensors can't keep up with the speed of your arms.

The game is lots of fun.
BUT it's got a serious issue -
I have NEVER seen so many cheaters in a single game... EVER. These guys (Rockstar Games) have the most worthless anti cheat/ban system I've ever seen. Hackers force their way into your posse (group) all the time despite locking it... so if they get in and cheat in your posse with you YOU GET BANNED and if you spent cash on gold they take all that away: All your character's items and progress. I have not personally been banned "yet' but 5 of the people I play with have (while playing in other groups). Banned because some one in there group was modding. Banned because someone else teleported them around thus deemed them the cheater. Its so sad how bad their system is and they wont admit it. I wont give them a positive review and I certainly wont spend any real cash on ingame gold as a friend of mine spent 125 on gold got banned because someone on their server cheated and RockStar took away all their character's items so they lost everything they bought in gold AND a 30 day ban. What makes this even more pathetic on RockStar's part is they dont accept ban appeals telling me they know how bad their system is.
Unacceptable behavior on RockStar Games's part. That's theft and should not be taken lightly, no matter what the terms of use say. Before you comment saying "well it's the license agreement or terms of use" think about this - why wouldn't they just ban you make you lose all your stuff from time to time so you will buy more gold?

Fun and promising game, but as all early access games it needs a lot of work.

Well it's been over 365 days since the last update. I've heard the rumor of "it's still in development, but it has to stay secret since their content has been stolen multiple times. So the game will release in one big update (full game)" Yeah well the clock is ticking down towards zero and we have literally seen nothing from the devs in over a year. There is a steam mod that keeps saying consistently on the discussion board/forms that he has spoken with the devs about further development and that they are still working on it. I promised I would change my review to a negative one after a year of silence. Well it's been a year and I always keep my promises.

BUYERS:
If your looking to buy the game I would buy with the realization that as of right now you are not getting further content, however there seems to be some pretty heavy belief that there is a massive update in the works. Again I would buy it knowing there is a real possibility there wont be anymore content. The game is fun but right now for me it's lacking.

I do hope a large update is really in the works, but I haven't seen any solid proof or actual evidence. Although if a steam mod is hanging around and the game hasn't been removed then somethings gotta be happening... right ?

Definitely not winning a game of the year award. Very fun game to kill time (sometimes literally). Watch your friends backstab you and sentence you to death!

This game is so much fun!
It's like guitar hero drums but for VR. More my style of music than beat saber.
My 2 issues with the game -
1. If I make contact with the drum it needs to ping or count because I have to swing hard sometimes to get it to register. So just make it count/register no matter how hard the stick hits the drum to remove that issue.

2. Add an option for drum setup. Some people like the straight line setup it has now, but for me and I am sure others I would prefer my 2 middle drums forward and my 2 outer ones on my sides or back a little. (curved setup rather than straight flat, because I swing to the side to hit my edges and naturally I think it's curved)

Other than that I personally like this game more than Beat Saber. Looking forward to more music for the game and further content.... the music is awesome!

Very fun game. You will get your moneys worth from it. Lots of fun with friends. I couldn't finish the tutorial because it was too creepy. NEVER and I repeat NEVER play this game in the dark solo with the AC blowing on you! NEVER!

I highly recommend if you are considering this game either have a friend with a mic or just have your own mic. It is really hard to communicate with someone when they are a complete mute. So you don't know if they are dead or alive in till you go back to the truck.
I don't think adding a chat bubble will do you any good either. Then you'll have people stopped in random areas to type a message. Then when a hunt goes live, they panic, and then they can't get out of the chat, because they are pressing random buttons annnnd they die. - Highly recommend a mic

Some things that need work -
1. Penalties for intentionally leaving matches (when in-game) & 5 or 10 second penalties for leaving lobbies repeatedly (when waiting for the match to begin).
2. Vote kick instead of admin kick. Because the admin can kick, the high level admins will kick just about anyone under level 20. So your searching for a match for 10 min. ( this will also allow the 3 other players to vote kick an AFK admin).
3. Sometimes ghosts can kill you through walls because your character is sticking through a wall.
4. Sometimes ghosts that require freezing temps you really have to work for it to go freezing. I spent 5 min just getting .01C wouldn't go below till during a hunt I was in a closet as it came down the hall my thermometer read -1.00C and finally it went freezing.

1 hour VR and just nope. If you want to mess your drawers go right on ahead. I strongly advise following rule #14 of Zombie Land and grab some TP.

This game was great. Had it's flaws but fun for a couple hours with some friends.
They moved to epic games. I want nothing to do with Epic Games.
