It's like dwarf fortress but more playable.

Dead Cells x Magicka x Sandspiel

And like many rogue-likes, a bit part of progression is simply learning how everything works, rather than something the game is keeping track of.

Another puzzle game that wishes it was portal. Voice acting is pretty grating. Not worth it IMO

Kind of similar to Zach's games TIS-100 and Shenzen I/O, this is a great puzzle game about CPU design. You should play this.

Meh. Play a zachtronics game instead. This game has a clumsy interface compared to TIS-100 or Shenzen I/O, and I didn't have nearly as much fun optimizing.

Things that make the interface clumsy:
* No copy/paste
* jumps take up two lines of space, so the interface quickly runs out of room

Also, the optimizations were mostly the same from puzzle to puzzle, and not much fun to implement.

Early Access Review
Racing games where your car can jump and has wings.

Pros:
* Great music
* Can go fast
* Active workshop mapmaking community
* Speedy saturday

Cons:
* If you're bad you can't go as fast.

Arguably the best rhythm game of the decade. This game is incredibly hard, but the difficulty comes from the pace it demands you make decisions, not from complicated mechanics. As a result, it's nearly always your fault when you die, and there's a huge amount of room for you to get better.

Once you beat the game, you can replay it with other characters, which have different gameplay styles which requires you to remaster the game with their play style.

And, of course, it has great music, which is mandatory for an excellent rhythm game. And it comes in several remixed flavors, which keeps it from getting stale.

An enjoyable experience. Not a lot of gameplay, and fairly short runtime, but very enjoyable controls and beautiful atmosphere.

But it on sale.
