Lots of fun to play with friends. Because you're deciding how to make yourself miserable, you'll find new ways to die all the time.

Works better with a bit of a sense of honor though; it's very possible to disrespect your friends by immediately undoing what they did, and it can be tempting to make a level impossible when you're ahead and just wait for the turn limit.

Saw this game on SGDQ, and had to try it for myself. A short game, but really fun. Also adorable robots.

This game is really fun with a bunch of controllers and a bunch of friends.

It has the worst name I've seen in a long time, though. I mean, seriously? There's no falling towers, nor do you ascend anything. I almost didn't play this game, because it's name made it sound like a bad game. It's not; it's great. Go play it, you'll thank me later.

Do you like lord of the rings? Do you like assassin's creed? Have you heard of the creed of the ring of lord-assassins?

Play this game.

If you haven't played spacechem yet, go do that first.

OK, did you like it? Or did you dislike it, but know what assembly is? Then continue

This is a game about programming a parallel computing system in assembly. It's not a real parallel computer, nor is it real assembly, but it's pretty damn close. The levels are a set of increasingly difficult puzzles/specifications. Give it a try. Then cry when you realize you won't beat my high scores in execution speed. Mua-ha-ha

A++/10

I bought this game for $1.55. I don't regret it, but I don't recommend it either.

It's like Thomas Was Alone, except easier, shorter, has fewer gameplay mechanics, and with a much worse story.

Only get it if you want to turn off your brain and jump through a few puzzles to calming music.

More of the same; play the other 2 first. This one gets even harder, but not unsolvable. If you enjoyed the first 2 and want it to keep going, by all means get this (perhaps on a sale).

The same uncomfortableness around carelessness is still here; the game's only mechanism for punishing failure is making you feel bad, which makes making mistakes incredibly frustrating, because now you know something you're not supposed to, and you only option to avoid "cheating" is to restart and come back later when you've forgotten the information.

This one's titular feature is that it can make random levels, but the random level generator is incredibly unsatisfying. It makes puzzles that have no consistent difficulty level; so for many puzzles there will be one hard thing to figure out, and 100 things you can find out via multiple clues, so deductions aren't as satisfying. Compared to the handcrafted levels, the randoly generated ones feel incredibly sloppy/poorly designed.

Great. I liked the world and gameplay better than Bastion, but the game does bear a lot of similarities. Including great narration, customizable weaponry, and a great soundtrack.

I played with a 360 controller and recommend that way to play, but it's not required.

Highly recommended.

This game does things right. The soundtrack is epic, keeps you smiling, and meshes with the game environment. The controls and the platforming in general feel just right, even when the levels get HARD. The writing is fun, and doesn't take itself seriously (think cat planet). The level design explores the mechanics well, but doesn't overstay its welcome. The difficulty curve is approachable, and successfully guides you to mastering its nuances.

Other things this game does right:
* Controls work equally well on keyboard as on controller
* Levels short and sweet / mid-level checkpoints available
* Boss fights that work well

You should get this game. It is definitely worth its full price of US$8, and when I got it on sale it was quite the steal.

This game is a silly good time. The fun is mostly had in the "harder than it looks" factor, which makes it good to play when others are around, but you do get better with practice.

What can I say, sometimes you just need to take Bob's ribcage out with a hammer, and then proceed to laser out his stomach, and heart, all in the name of putting a new heart in.
