As someone who has played the online flash version of both Warfare 1917 and 1944, this is a throwback to those days. It great to play the game again for the first time again in years especially since Con Artist Games, the developer put out a demo before releasing to garner attention.

The game is remade on the unity engine which has better performance, graphics, bug fixes, and improved interface which is a direct upgrade to the flash version. Calling in fire support in 1917 is better because there is vertical adjustments unlike the flash version. There is full voice acting added in the tutorials which is nice and immersive in the games.

Brand new to the Legacy Collection is the Battle of the Bulge campaign which carries over your upgrades from the 1944 game which is an assault style gameplay of 1944 that plays in segments and requires much more micromanaging of units.

I enjoy nostalgic flash game producers moving their games to steam with remastered graphics and performance which shows they respect their players and kept their charm after all these years. I for one welcome them to bring their classic games for new and returning players to enjoy on Steam!
