Back in 1998, Valve released Half-Life, it was the most advanced game in terms of graphics and other areas. NPCs can talk to you without cutscenes, enemy AI is intellegent for it's time, graphics blew everybody's minds etc. These factors are what made Half-Life so revolutionary and influencial. The game is over 20 years now and so far, it has aged decently in some areas such as the story, but not in terms of graphics and technical issues (there are many bugs to the game).

Half-Life may be awesome, but sadly it has to come with a few downsides, because it's an old game, there are many game ruining glitches to it, and sometimes the objectives are not clear and you have to watch a guild to help you.But still, overall Half-Life is one of the greatest games ever made. I recommend you to play if you love retro games, love the Half-Life series (release Half-Life 3 already Valve!), and sci-fi FPS, then this is the game for you.
