Early Access Review
Don't skip my review just because of the low playtime, I have played this excessively offline and on a friend's pc when I didn't have it :P

I don't usually write reviews for games, but when I do, it is usally because of the impact this has had on my life. My first Steam Card was $10, which I used to buy Garry's Mod (newer gamers would understand).

When I saw this game 2 to 3 years ago, my jaw dropped.

The graphics look amazing, the gameplay looked fun and it wasn't something I would play (as I didn't have much money anyways).

I started to save up for it, coin after coin, stacking up on my bookshelf, eagerly waiting till the day I could pack those cents into an envelope to my friendly neighbourhood Steam Card dealer.
When I got it, it exeeded my expectations by worlds. It was a new world to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fast forward 3 years, and after I have played many new games and saved lots more money, I still have this game in my Favourites in my Library. I wanted to check out if there was more progress and was apalled at the sign saying 'Mixed' reviews. Why?! I asked myself. I started to scroll through the reviews and almost all of them were: "its not finished", or "no updates, still buggy"
I say to you, did you read that this is EARLY access? It means it is still being worked on. When I saw that there is only one developer left working soo hard on this, my heart really cries out to him.

And if you people are so mad, just think about it. It's a $10 game. GAME. Someone is trying extremely hard to make it fun for you, and you complain that he is slow. 1 person.

I really recommend this game, and shout out to the developer, thank you for your hard work.

To those of you reading this, the developer's motto is FTLOTG. It stands for 'for the love of the game'. I think this really shows where the developer's heart is.

Thanks for reading, and think to yourself before you stain this game's reputation even further by posting a negative review without really thinking.

P.S, to the dev, I think you should put this as a free weekend to increase publicity!

It's been in early access for a long time. There still aren't even aliens. Just crash test dummies.

There was a free weekend, and it breathed a small amout of life, but not enough.
I was a heavy backer, paying for spier head edtion and extra copies for my m8's. Game has gone through some hard times and the community has abandoned it. At thsi satge I am tierd of waiting on nothing. This game should not be recommended at this stage.

Just because it's early access doesn't mean the updates should be so slow people think the game is abandoned. "FTLOTG" it's sad fanboys like you eat anything you see up to see crappy developers in a good light while ignoring anything bad, I had high hopes for this game when I bought spearhead edition 3 years ago.

Luckily it was only half the price back then but I still feel really ripped off. Maybe they are actually working on it a decent pace and there's a chance in hell it might even be released one day. Until then I judge this game for it's slow progression.

Thanks again for promoting shady developers and games on steam that's what we need even more right now.

I agree that a free weekend would be a superb method to increase the player count. Not enough people know about the game.
