honestly could just be me in deep snack cost fallicy or whatever that is after playing this game a lot on gamepass, but everything overall have improved greatly over one year.

not giving them the excuse for fumbling that bad, nothing can do that.

edit: the ceo decided to shoot their own foot and everyone else, how about that.

Original review at 3.1 hours honestly i brought this game for the meme but its actually quite fun played like ten hours in the playtest alone, very few online players through, but i refuse to link to epic games so maybe its that

Okay I got bored so long review, theres are my own opinions and all that please dont flame me

TL;DR
- The game is fun enough for the price if you enjoyed PAYDAY 2, even if you didn't get DLCs. Their roguelite singleplayer system alone kept me in. And yes, there are janks here and there but they're usually rare and low impact on your gameplay.

My specs (idk ive never list these) Laptop - Acer Swift SFX14-41G CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800U with Radeon Graphics Operating System: Windows 10 (64 bit) Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU RAM: 15724 Mb Storage: Installed on SSD device

- Graphics
(but I "talk" about performance instead I guess)
I really don't care lol but someone probably does so, they looks fine. Thats it lmao.

I also used two different settings, at first I used the AMD upscaling at "Quality" setting to set the FOV and view distance to be higher, but currently using mostly low settings without the upscaling, and I think I'll stick with that from here on since it looks nicer and the framerates I'm getting is about the same.

- The Roguelite Runs
Gonna talk very little about multiplayers since I've only played one with another random players. I still haven't created a Epic Games account either. Their multiplayers system seems okay since I saw no issue or difference from the singleplayer gameplay in the only games I was in.

The singleplayer campaigns are pretty fun, they comes in two different "flavors" with my own understanding, Standard Roguelite and DLCs Roguelite.

The standard runs are basically you doing heists and robberies for monies, to use them either for:

  • hiring generic goons to take rivals terfs and take them down
  • plan a large heists to negotiate with the rivals
  • hire more "heisters", promote them, or get better weapons and tools to help you in your robberies
  • buying assets to level up your boss for permanant upgrades

And your goals are to basically kick your rivals out of the city, though I don't think you would be able to complete the run on first tries. There are also the sheriff [sidenote: chuck norris voice him and god he shouldnt have took it im sorry] that will investigate your actions each days, increasing much faster if you did a lot of stuff on each day. And if it reachs 100%, ur boned.

Oh yeah and your rivals may attack your terfs, you have to defence that specific terf or they'll claim that area.

DLCs runs are basically a fixed stories and heists. You can still do the regular things, but the main goals is to follow and complete the storylines and thats it. You don't really have to worry about the rivals for these runs.

honestly i dont think i should be writing this yet since i probably miss out like 5 bazillion things but whatever

- Gameplays
Again, never really plays the multiplayers. So Singleplayers only here. Also won't go far in since, see above.

Most robbies, raid, defences, and heists are quite short, and usually could be complete in both stealth or loud

You also can switch to any characters you brought into each missions, provided they aren't climbing or dying. Which could be useful if you're doing some funky tech or something.

The friendly AI can also assist you with looting and bringing it to the van automatically in both stealth and loud, however they're still buggy and not that smart, and could lead to runs ending stuff if you aren't careful. I know I have.

okay i run out of things to write will probably silently update with more opinions later
