A cute game to enjoy for first few minutes before realization kicks in how much polishing this school project needs. It is lovely that the creator is sharing his first game ever, although when you know that every single thing will annoy the player after first 5 minutes - better do not put such games on gaming platforms.

Easily one of the greater strategy games of recent years I had the opportunity to play. Its replayability is hampered by its story focus, and its chapter separation was unexpected, but gameplay-wise there's not a single fault. Simply it is worth it at its full price.

This is a Picross, also known as the Griddlers type of game. Even though I'm a sucker for any games that brings me the minesweeper vibe, I simply cannot recommend this game, as it is unfinished and is lacking lots of basic features.
On top of that, I couldn't even say if this 'school project' type of a game would be even a little bit more successful as a mobile game as there are just too many little things that throw you off.
Publisher is greedy and lazy if they are selling this incomplete project of theirs. Do NOT buy this.

Pros:
The descriptions of your injuries are often interesting and funny
The visuals are pleasant
Cons:
The gameplay is incredibly repetitive
The characters and world are uninteresting
The combat is weak and boring
The user interface is unintuitive
Worth it only if get it on a discount or free for a quick blast on the weekend.

A game with an interesting concept, although the gameplay feels like a puzzle which gets more and more annoying that interesting due to constant pressure to juggle around the main goals. On top of that, the game seems to be lost between old timey strategy game and grotesque R-rate subject matter where none of the ideas seem to be fully finished.
Right now it is just a cute indie for a two-day weekend if you get it on a big discount. Sadly, it has wasted its potential to be more than that.

While the game has a lot of good ideas and a much-improved execution of its predecessor’s spirit, it’s not quite a must-play. Although you definitely could and maybe should get on a discount, the game is build in such manner that you have to play it the way it wants. Personally I did enjoy this game a lot and having to use cheat engine to speed up the game or use walkthrough here and there for all achievements and quests did not bother me too much.

You use your spy network to compromise enemy operations, through decisions made on a world map and XCOM-style battles. You’re always trying to get ahead of the enemy via surveillance, intelligence, and espionage, just like every other spy thriller.

But executing missions emphasises being unseen more than killing targets. You’ll sneak into buildings, knock out guards, and gather intel before anyone spots you. It’s this intel that can be used to uncover enemy plans, including known agents.

Phantom Doctrine features all of the spy cliches; although its story its not worth it going trough all the repetitive missions/maps and scenarios. Although in the end Phantom Doctrine is a flawed tactics game, true, but it has a very fun premise.

This beautiful and entertaining game goes strong even after 20 years! Definitely worth it and it is twice as fun with friends.
Don't mind my playtime on Steam though. Going off steam is the thing!

Well, after quick consideration, this is a bummer.
At one side you have great setting for a game, interesting society and lovely story as the main character develops as he goes through challenges.
However, when all of it is joined by the sluggish controls and even more absurd movement speed, this short and still proper translation lacking cute sci-fi scale is not entirely worth, especially when they ask exorbitant 10-15 euros for one episode.
This is not a sensible investment.
