Visually pleasant, with a lovely cartoon style that makes what would otherwise be a grim game pleasant to play, Rebuild 3 definitely entertains. While the music could be better – it can get both monotonous and occasionally grating – the overall art and feel of the game are definitely an improvement over the previous Rebuild game.

I think this is a great soccer game and I highly recommend it.

It's a game that people will overlook due to the slightly out dated graphics, but for those that do take the plunge, a polished and addictive gem awaits them.

An excellent remake that manages to overcome the flaws of the original and offer a glimpse at what a next gen Yakuza game might look like.

A hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won't cause massive damage.

Loads of explosive toys to throw around
New gadgets add to the fun
Playful sense of humour

Cons -
Liberation objectives grow repetitive
Lacks the depth of the best open-world games

Can great atmosphere overshadow bad gameplay and level design?
I'm still not sure how I would answer this question at the begging, now and after another 10 hours.
Great writing, well developed characters and amazing atmosphere is not going well with repetitive missions and bland gameplay.
First two hours are great, then the games becomes so boring due to 'filler' missions and same objectives/grind which go on for the entire game (~20 hours). Its up to you to decide is it truly worth it.

"Maybe it’s because, on a new run, my new strategy makes itself known so quickly. Only a couple of rinse and repeat, hit and/or defend wars of dour attrition against fodder-foes before a win wins me a new (but familiar) card, one which sets the pace of the cards I’ll choose across this course of this new campaign. A new post-it note for the wall, another red string. The game’s afoot, again.

Or maybe it’s because Slay The Spire is a drug.

A drug I don’t want to quit. A miracle of design? Yeah, go on."
