you are a lost cat thing, trying to find home, wandering in a completely unknown world full of hazards, predators, scavengers, giant monsters, etc. You pretty much become part of the ecosystem, you are not the main character that has plot armor or have abilities that make it outstand the rest of the enemies, you are "alone" and you are gonna need to learn how to survive in an hostile world, taking risks, thinking how to trick the environment and distract what is chasing you, and choosing which battles are worth fighting or fleeing, you are gonna feel lost, not in the sense that the game has a bad mapping system I mean in how big, complex and inhospitable is your environment, it's a feeling of curiosity that this is something bigger and you want to learn what happened in this world to be that way and exploring the variety of scenery that the game has to offer.
