If you enjoyed Hiveswap Act 1, this game is worth your time. The setting was cool and the characters were diverse and fun. There is a moment where the pacing of the game is off, and some of the puzzles were just running around, but I think in general the experience is positive.

More targeted criticism with spoilers ahead:

I think that some of the puzzles were kind of busy work. Going back and forth on the train was kind of tedious.

I also think that the ending left a bad taste in my mouth. Crashing the train after all the hard work we went through to set it on the right course was kind of a punch in the gut for me. I think I would have preferred a happier ending, and then have the train crash at the beginning of Act 3.

I actually really liked the Ace Attorney mini game, and didn't mind the length, but I've seen some people say in reviews that it was too long. I can understand that, especially if you have played Ace Attorney before. I hadn't, so I didn't mind as much. But the whole sequence just kind of happens abruptly and throws the pacing off a bit.

In my opinion, the best part of the game was the lead up to getting onto the train. The low moments for me were the rust/bronze and gold/olive train cars. Jade/teal train car all the way until the end was enjoyable in my opinion.
