This "Remastered" Borderlands is an improvement to the original in pretty much every way except for removing the LAN option and raising the pricetag.
I do recommend it, but I would grab it at a sale as removing the original dirt cheap BL1 and forcing you to buy an "Enchanced" version that doesnt really provide much over the original (comparing when on sale).

Apart from some nice quality of life improvements, most of the original glitches are still in-game.
Most likely to keep the game fun focusing on making the game look better.
I remember when I thought BL 1 looked terrible when trying it after years away from it right after playing BL 2.
Now it does not feel that way at all.

The only thing that really disappoints me is that they did not do more positive changes.
Like fast travel in the dlcs so you could farm Crawmerax etc. without hundereds of pieces of loot spread everywhere or resetting and have to go the whole way there again.
It is a missed opertunity for sure, but other than that I can only say that I fully recommend the game.
Note thought that I have barely played MP and have heard that there have been big problems in the past.
