Signalis is a classic survival horror not just in design but also in form, but that is by far a boundary to which it restricts itself to, often recurring to sections that lightly mess with the basic rules of a game. Solid in world building and puzzle design, smooth to play and handle, and dripping with style in its score and visuals. But that's all just to tell you what you'd like to know for your money's worth...

I don't think anything I could tell you could really encompass the dread, the sadness and that priceless sense of wonderment at what often feels like a mystery impossible to unravel.
Signalis is about and in and of itself love, bleeding, seething and gelid. Abstract like a poem, coherent as a delirious fever dream at your deathbed and even as frail certainty and shards of a story's verisimilitude elude you it'll nevertheless resonate and stick with you, whether it's a tone that recurs in your ears or a memory of a cycle.
That's something money can't buy.

I also hope you really liked Code Veronica
