Spent almost 30 hours in the demo. Full release changed a decent amount but the game at its core is the same, and that core is great. It's a fun strategy game with with hints of a rogue like, because all the rewards are in tiers, they are randomized, and you can only pick from 3 each time generally. There is also meta progession and other kings to unlock. I'd say there is alot of of bang for your buck here if you think you will enjoy the gameplay loop.

My only complaint...and it is a somewhat big one,is the lack of a save button. I understood it in the demo, but it should definitely have one in release. The game is simple enough to be easy to walk away from and come back to, and considering how long runs can go, its a must.

Great game. Feel like this a must own if your a horror fan. it's not really a scary game, but the vibes are immaculate and captures the old Resident Evil style and doesnt completely butcher it.

As far as Achievements go, the list of achievements for the game is short, and mostly easy, but there are, i'd say, 2 that cause a little bit of grief and 1 that WILL likely take some considerable effort to get.

Nice Little Hotline Miami like game. Lots of enemy and weapon variety. Decent length game and does get challenging.
Looks at player numbers on steam DB and feel like this title get enough of eyes on it,atleast for the pc version.
Only complaint I have is that having to use new weapons for every kill slows things down a bit if your going for high scores.
Also very completionist friendly. 13 hours to get 100%. Dev added assist options which made going back and grabbing hidden wolves WAY less tedious.

Well holy s***

Been a fan of the series since 1 released.

i bought this dlc during the anniversary sale because it was 8 bucks, and the dlc added achievements,(which I love when dlcs ruin my 100%. Sarcasm btw)

and yet, that was still too much for me. This dlc pissed me off so much I should have gotten paid to play it. Player characters base movement speed is slower than my wheelchair bound 97 year old grandmother, and if you hit danger health levels, which you will if you play on hardcore, than cut the god awful movement speed in half. I spent my entire playthrough yelling "MOVE B****".

The plot twists and story elements are so incredibly predictable, you can see the twist coming the moment the relevant story element is added. It also has a weirdly supernatural element that uh...is somehow still too out there for a Resident Evil game.

The environment is entirely reused from the base game, which is not inherently a bad thing, but when your already not having fun, adds to the annoyance. There are non combat sequences that result in insta death, which I died to several times which i cant explain very well without spoiling, but it involved getting trapped and unable to progress without dying/restarting, design implying your supposed to go one way, when in reality your supposed to go the opposite, and incredibly tight timing or use of something that previously did not work but suddenly does.

The only ounce of fun I scrapped out of this dlc was the very ending. The final fight adds some mechanics that atleast made it a fun fight, although it overstayed its welcome due to personal tilt/hardcore difficulty health.

Short and Sweet

Overall, game is great. Its a lot of what you expect from Dark Souls with some welcome additions. Main issues the game suffers from,in my eyes,is a constant repeat of enemies to fill the world, and a lack of balance across the board. Found myself very frustrated with the game towards the end,and that has never happened with a Fromsoft title before.

Elden Ring sits above Dark Souls 2 at the bottom of my list for Fromsoft games. A good title with some glaring issues.

Editing review because I was salty about the game essentially screwing me over wasting all of my resources, and making it extremely difficult to complete the game without going on a grind for hours to recoup resources. I've since came back to it and had a good time.

Its a fun little game for what it is. Still think it lacks polish, but its a horde mode, survival game thats a good time.

Spawned in for the first time.Spawn trapped one of the stronger zombies you can't run away from.
Spawned into a different server.Spawned trapped by a horde.
Spawned a third time.Trapped by same horde.
Spawned..oh wait,I never spawned in again because 25 of the 30 minutes i played consisted of
me staring at a loading screen.
