DLC is kinda overpriced imho but I have yet to try the olympics or snowfest. So far it's a lot of fun to just snowboard,ski, or sled. Buy on sale like I did.

Fun with friends but good luck having anything for more than a day. Offline raiding is so unfair and bs it has stopped me from playing many times. Either offline raiding needs a nerf or online raiding needs a buff and this game would be almost perfect. Also the blueprint/scrap system is just garbage. Go back to components and have barrels have a chance (even if very small) to drop actually good items so it wouldnt only be nakeds going for them.

Also I noticed most of the positive reviews are from accounts with sub 100 hours, and a lot of negative reviews are from veterans, just saying that you REALLY need hours to know how good/bad this game is. My 200 hours are from mostly 2 HARD grind months where I played with both 8 man (at highest) and as a solo. Both experiences were fun and challenging, but Jesus save your soul if you try to solo.

One more thing, for a game that's so reliant on open world gun play, Jesus Christ it is so laggy when you go to new areas, would recomend running around the world like a naked Forest Gump before you set up anywhere or have any gear.

TIPS:
~Go nowhere near the official servers unless you're experienced or are a 15+ man clan.
~Go on 5x servers to get used to the building and get ez loot to practice with.
~If you have no empathy you can KOS people for ez loot.
~If you have empathy do not buy this game.

Mercenary factions are complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and should not be turned on when you make a game. For a measly 3k energy credits, even a PACIFIST NATION can hire them to completely ♥♥♥♥ over your entire empire and you are completely powerless to stop it. Besides that just another run of the mill RTS

There is no autosave. It's 2018 and theres no autosave in case your computer ♥♥♥♥♥ its pants. lost 3 hours of work. other than that fun with friends, or solo.

The game has been out for 2 days as of writing this...I have 22 hours...Help

Game is fun but seriously needs some improvements. Host migration just ends the missions, the bleedout mechanic needs to be reworked or moved off the first difficulty, and bodyblocking/ hitboxed for enemies needs to be fixed/adjusted. Feels like the hitboxes are huge. Also Theres no checkpoint system, so if you die you have to restart the mission or pick another one. This wouldnt be bad but the missions are short enough you wonder if thier needed, but still long enough that you dont want to go through the entire thing again

Edit: This review was made the first week tht game came out. It has been out for quite a long time now and there's still no host migration or dedicated servers. Also It has come to light that the better your hardware, the more enemies spawn. Thats right, if you have a craptop and host a game, less enemies spawn than if you have a nice pc. That's just stupid.

Never has a walking sim get me so confused about my state of mind, and left me emotionally messed up.

The last game I have played with a story this good was probably The Last of Us.

9.8/10 ending was anti-climactic, if you took the first half of the game and ran the opposite direction you would have made another amazing game.

All I have seen is the rocket launcher and the sniper rein supreme, as they are both one hit weapon where you can rush and be fine....

This game is so much fun if you have friends. the "Heat" System REALLY pisses me off, especially since it really isn't shown or talked about. Basically each chunk has a heat value, and the more you are active in a chunk the more heat there is and the more screamers spawn there:(Screamers basically spawn a bunch of zombies). So if you don't have a different base for crafting and forging, you will spend every moment not crafting killing hordes of zombies. This is oc late game but is annoying as hell never the less.


tl;dr: Buy this game when it's on sale. Fun with friends, but not for 25 dollars
