The items you subscribe to and the cache of items you can upload are independent. You have no subscription limit other than your hard drive space

fixed itself? like one time you logged on and saw you got your 2gb worth of storage back?
because i just unsubscribed to my whole workshop library and that only cleaned up about 2mb.
i did verify my cache and also deleted it just to be sure, but nothing happened.

I have no idea how I solved it. It kind of fixed itself. I heard some things revolving around cache, but it worked once, and in future attempts made it worse.
