This is a game with strong ARPG elements. However, these elements do not make any sense and have no synergy with one another. The combat is good but the developers need to put in a lot of work to make sure that the game's mechanics serve an actual purpose. There are idols which you pick up that provides short buffs for the player during roaming - for what? The combat is already served enough by the buffs and skills from the character; it's also different each time so you can never expect what to get. The item drops from mobs are pointless as its stats are random - it's a waste of resources - you will not likely use any of it as the chances of getting loot synergistic to your current build is small.

I don't recommend it at this stage, certainly not for the price. The developers are working on a multiplayer update which I honestly feel is a detour from furthering the richness and content of the game. They expect to have more players and a full release by 2023 which is enough time to achieve that goal but I feel like the developers are more focused on the long-term viability of the game and providing a service with seasons, etc. Therefore, I do not recommend it now and I certainly don't appreciate waiting a long time for the possibility that the game might be great. I bought this two years ago and only jump into it after months of not playing, only to do so for 10-20 minutes.

It get's boring after a while and the story isn't good. The combat is the only highlight.

Hello, the game itself has been a joy. There are kind and friendly people, many who are willing to help you. For example, just asked someone for a werewolf bite to transform, and they helped.

Have met so many interesting people, it's almost serendipitous.

One con is the crown system and the pay features which are generally expensive. $10 CAD for 750 Crowns is not enough to purchase most items in the Crown Store EVEN combined with the free 500 that you get for registering as a new player. It hilariously overpriced and their cash grab - each crown equates to about $0.75 cents... So, really you will have to spend at least $15 to purchase ONE item in the Crown Store as enticing as that sounds, it is not worth it. The bottom line is Crown Store items are expensive.

That being said, you do not need to pay but if you find that you want to make most of the experience and decide to, then Elder Scrolls has no qualms with ripping you off.
