Early Access Review
This is one of those games I would love to leave a neutral review on. I'm leaving it positive because I think it's on the better side of neutral, and my issues with the game are hopefully easy fixes. I also think this game is worth a look.

I think it's a great premise, but it's missing some features I think should be standard in RTS games by this point. Things like patrol orders, and queing waypoints. The UI could use some work, maybe a hotkey to toggle commander/FPS view and to auto select certain buildings and zoom to your HQ. The pathing isn't the best either. I had a sniper get stuck in the back of a truck, which honestly wasn't the worst thing ever.

But the reason I might be requesting a refund are balancing issues. In the short time I got to spend in this game before the refund window, I found that you can absolutely steamroll the buggy bois if you're humans. Not so much the other way around. The humans have guns on their buildings, and wiped out a fairly large push I threw at their base with minimal issues while I sent two squads and a handful of vics at the bugs and rolled them up. They were also wiping me out just by trickling in early units that could hit me from farther away than I could.

I think this could be rectified by making the advanced spawning buildings cheaper for the bugs, as I didn't have time to get the resources I needed to spawn anytime more than the T3 spawner/units. If the bugs are going to be squishy or melee only, they should be really cheap, or the buildings should be anyway. Or the human units should be a little squishier maybe.

I also fully admit, maybe I just suck with the bugs, but they were the major reason I wanted to play this game. I wish I had more time to really check out the full unit tree.

Graphics are good
Music is good
SFX are cool
Gameplay is about what you'd expect. I was a bit underwhelmed by the FPS aspect, but didn't really utilize it too much.

I'll definitely be checking this game out again in a year or so. I'll try to update my review then.
