I LOVED Hawken. I was stoked for this game.

But this game is taking Hawken's name as a cash grab.

It's nothing like Hawken. They're selling premium currency for a single player game, and that game is in alpha. You can't even revive in a single player game without the premium currency. The devs are sort of charging people to alpha test this for them.

Grenade launchers and shotguns are trash. Game play consists of "got to X, hold button on objective, defeat enemy waves, walk back to base." The whole time they spoon feed you the story rinse and repeat. The game play itself is mediocre at best.

At least you can craft things for free with a glitch if you don't have the resources.

Check it out if you like grindy mech shooter games, but for the love of everything that's holy, don't give them your money.
